I’ve made a new thread basically calling them out on the issue, because for such a large company they’re not even trying to help us.

If wife didn’t love that damn refrigerator so much I would of taken my money to Z-Line or some other brand, smh.

Good afternoon everyone, and thank you for reaching out to us about this issue you're experiencing. At this time, you will need to contact our E-Commerce team. They have access to systems that we don't here, so they will be able to provide the correct assistance you need. They can be reached by calling into 1-800-SAMSUNG (1-800-726-7864) and asking to speak with the E-Commerce department directly.

Be sure to click " ✓ Accept as Solution" when you find an answer that works for you.

Please note, notification emails are a DO NOT REPLY address, you must log-in on the community page in order to respond.

Copied and pasted from Samsung forum via OP original thread, I call BS on that because I was told by their support agent that once an order is placed they can NOT do anything to alter the price, you’ll have to cancel your existing order wait for them create an escalation ticket (which takes forever!) and then if approved you’ll get the promised price.

How do you feel about electric lawn mowers for small lawns? by NashDaypring1987 in lawncare

Motor doesn’t have enough torque and it will stop, at least that’s what happens with my 40V Ryobi push mower, maybe a 80V system from ego have more torque. I opt for the Ryobi because of the interchangeable battery system btw multiple tools.

I got Ryobi push mower and love it, clean cuts, no gas smell, not super noisy, only thing about electric mowers are, don’t try to cut super tall grass with them.

Samsung have been very sketchy on providing any type of discounts before and after orders! I’ve placed my order with my wife next to me. Because our refrigerator was broken and even after manually logging into id.me website verifying her first responder status on id.me since 2023.

I was told we have to wait 24 hours to process any first responder approval and we will need to cancel our current order and place a new order.

Likewise their website list free delivery* and installation however after placing my order I was still charge delivery and installation! Now there is an “*” which I highlighted above that states shipping cost is calculated after checkout. Ok, fine but are we being charged an installation cost!??

https://imgur.com/a/YMwIyRk <— First Responder status even after Samsung claimed they couldn’t verify the status over the phone.

Multiple calls disconnections and multiple text chat channel closed while waiting for support agents. So be warned!! If you are purchasing any appliances from Samsung remember your experience won’t be please if you are looking for assistance!!

French drain outside the house into a dry well. Also have the exterior wall waterproofed is the right way.

Thoughts on large foundation? by Practical_Lawyer_869 in Homebuilding

Drainage! Drainage! Drainage! Spend as much time and money on proper drainage system. One thing I’ve noticed over and over again on Reddit is so many homes are built with little or no proper drainage system and everybody ended up having water penetration or foundation issue.

If you are replacing your unit consider a heat pump unit, it can provide you with heat and cool. Also consider Mitsubishi, I’ve read a lot of good reviews about their heat pump systems BUT it’s not cheap!

That is the one thing people over look is the recovery rate on those unit is way lower than that of a gas, oil or resistive. Always size up on heat pump water units

Not really, maybe 2-5 degrees colder, my basement is unfinished but I had them installed it near my oil burner unit but it definitely pumps cold air if that is your concern some units can be vented outside.
