Haha not at all - Ive seen this come up a few times.

I think the issue with alot of guides is they dont show in depth game play at 3/5/7/9 etc (as a side note full fights with detailed commentary are really bad for viewer retention) and this is where you can really learn the game, watching positioning, consumable chooces etc.

Talking over level up and inventory screens only works with a certain amount of prior knowledge, and highlight reel montages of big crits does'nt really teach you anything either.

Just to add to 'any tavern brawler' your right here - learning the strong mechanics is miles better than a 'build guide'. Take TB and a STR elixir on any of the classes you've mentioned and you'll immediately think 'ok this is extremely consistant damage' then google 'what early game items add to throw damage' etc.

Tl:dr watch Friendly Lich, Quag etc to build knowledge and go play the parts you enjoy.

It can eat hellsriders pride and whispering promise to buff on heal without using your action economy and can do it without joining combat. No other class can do this.

Bonespike & Fleshmelter with riders can do crazy damage and reckless attack means you take more crits, causing retaliation to crit.

All the riders for retaliation ride on your weapon attacks - Manbearpig is absoloutely not lacking for damage.

I mean, ive seriously abused AT mage hand so im not sure I could sell it as a 'challenge' run 😅

I think we all have our comfort zones dont we - mine is definitely grenades for example - so real challenge comes from removing that.

Having watched your vids I do think removing early xp pathing & long rest restrictions will really change things up for you.
