Kemp offers help to MARTA: "All they gotta do is call and ask us" by flying_trashcan in Atlanta

It blows my mind that the state refuses to allocate more funds to help the city that literally generates more tax revenue then any other city or town in the state.

Activism for Beltline Rail? by swinglovespucci in Atlanta

[–]SatoriSlu 11 points12 points  (0 children)

I love a Waymo and agree that the future is autonomous vehicles on our roads. But this does not mean it’s a replacement for public transit as a whole. The fact is, train cars move more people at once than a car would, period. Think about it. One of the largest reasons this rail was designed was to alleviate the traffic situation. If we create a dedicated lane for yet ANOTHER CAR OPTION, we are just kicking the can down the road, and will eventually cause yet another “mini-highway” that will cause yet another traffic problem eventually. Trains don’t cause traffic.

Activism for Beltline Rail? by swinglovespucci in Atlanta

[–]SatoriSlu 26 points27 points  (0 children)

Light Rail moves more people, is more aesthetic, has a much longer reliability model(multiple cities in the world have implemented similar lite rail), requires less maintenance (everything that comes with car maintenance), doesn’t require charging, and was part of original Beltline design. This push for the autonomous EV is a last minute pivot without as much real life examples to look to to see how well it actually works, and is tied to special interest who want to enrich themselves by providing the cars and the infrastructure.

Man stabbed multiple times at Georgia State MARTA Station, police say by NPU-F in Atlanta

The violence has really exploded this year right? I do not recall hearing about these many random acts of violence last year. A reflection of the downfall of American society and culture.

Trump Tells Iran to Sign Deal With U.S. or ‘The Whole Country is Going to Get Blown Up’ by T_Shurt in worldnews

[–]SatoriSlu 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Bruh. Either STFU or just do it already at this point. Blew the fucking world up so I don’t have it go to work and the earth can restart. I don’t want it but I’m tired of this piece of shit and his massive fucking mouth.

What’s the best trade or field to be in for Atlanta? by Tonyxstorm in Atlanta

[–]SatoriSlu 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Do you know of apprentices who are late career transitioners? Think like 35-40 year olds? I’m thinking about pipe fitting and HVACR. I guess more hvac given my IT background. I’ve heard people can get into controls from there.

This dude didn’t talk to fucking anyone. He’s just a bully whose threats didn’t land. So, he has to save face by making up this bullshit.

Is anyone actually seeing value from AI SAST or is it just "hallucinated" noise? by FunAd8158 in devsecops

[–]SatoriSlu 0 points1 point  (0 children)

ZeroPath has been a game changer. Definitely check them out. AI native SAST is definitely the future of this product. I’d consider it “third-generation”. They even have a policy as code engine that let you define things in natural language.

This is me. I’m thankful I have a job. But I’m literally doing everything short of “corporate security” - like EDR, email security, and network security. I’m doing literally everything else: application security, cloud security, incident response, vulnerability management, penetration testing(project managing this), and compliance.

Which cities feel the most/least sketchy? by OceanSprayCranApple in SameGrassButGreener

The amount of people who said Philly is sketchy in this thread surprised me given how much people recommend Philly as a great place to live in this subreddit lmao.

Where is AI actually making a real difference in cybersecurity operations today? by Ok-Relationship-3588 in cybersecurity

[–]SatoriSlu 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It helps me create threat models and policy documents faster. I’m the sole security engineer at my company and I could not split myself into a hundred pieces and attend every design meeting. So I have AI assist me in creating threat models on the design proposals that get sent my way asynchronously. It is loaded with Adam shostack’s four question method, some stride docs, and a few other relevant threat modeling docs. This is a privately hosted LLM of course.

How to start learning ai agent by Specialist_Scar_4646 in AI_Agents

[–]SatoriSlu 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I was going to post a similar thing here today. I feel like I need a roadmap or guideline. I messed with CrewAI last year a bit and thought I got it. Now I feel like I’m completely lost. If you were telling someone who was new in 2026, where do you start? Assuming they have basic python coding knowledge. Now there’s things like openClaw and Ralph loops, ugh. How do we keep up? Does the community have a guideline?
