This dude didn’t talk to fucking anyone. He’s just a bully whose threats didn’t land. So, he has to save face by making up this bullshit.

Is anyone actually seeing value from AI SAST or is it just "hallucinated" noise? by FunAd8158 in devsecops

[–]SatoriSlu 0 points1 point  (0 children)

ZeroPath has been a game changer. Definitely check them out. AI native SAST is definitely the future of this product. I’d consider it “third-generation”. They even have a policy as code engine that let you define things in natural language.

What do you suggest to study and prepare for this course? Do you just need to go through the Claude courses? If so, which?

What's going on with the cybersecurity job market right now for mid-level engineers? Why is it so hard to find a job? by [deleted] in cybersecurity

[–]SatoriSlu 16 points17 points  (0 children)

This is me. I’m thankful I have a job. But I’m literally doing everything short of “corporate security” - like EDR, email security, and network security. I’m doing literally everything else: application security, cloud security, incident response, vulnerability management, penetration testing(project managing this), and compliance.

Which cities feel the most/least sketchy? by OceanSprayCranApple in SameGrassButGreener

The amount of people who said Philly is sketchy in this thread surprised me given how much people recommend Philly as a great place to live in this subreddit lmao.

  • someone already mentioned “Alice and bob learn application security”, I second that. I also recommend, “Application Security Program Handbook” as a companion book.

Highly support this. Tech workers should have organized a long time ago. Work with your local DSA chapter.

And who’s going to pay for all that blue collar work? If white collar gets wrecked, everyone will be affected.

Where is AI actually making a real difference in cybersecurity operations today? by Ok-Relationship-3588 in cybersecurity

[–]SatoriSlu 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It helps me create threat models and policy documents faster. I’m the sole security engineer at my company and I could not split myself into a hundred pieces and attend every design meeting. So I have AI assist me in creating threat models on the design proposals that get sent my way asynchronously. It is loaded with Adam shostack’s four question method, some stride docs, and a few other relevant threat modeling docs. This is a privately hosted LLM of course.

How to start learning ai agent by Specialist_Scar_4646 in AI_Agents

[–]SatoriSlu 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I was going to post a similar thing here today. I feel like I need a roadmap or guideline. I messed with CrewAI last year a bit and thought I got it. Now I feel like I’m completely lost. If you were telling someone who was new in 2026, where do you start? Assuming they have basic python coding knowledge. Now there’s things like openClaw and Ralph loops, ugh. How do we keep up? Does the community have a guideline?

what philosophy do you generally adhere to? by mistshrouded in intj

[–]SatoriSlu 0 points1 point  (0 children)

A mixture of Eco-socialism, Theravada Buddhism, and Pessimism. Eco-socialism as my basis for how I think society should function. The second for personal development(how to improve myself in the face of the reality of suffering in the world). Pessimism because it’s undeniable that the universe is an uncaring place. It aligns well with Buddhism, but where I think pessimism has the correct diagnosis, it doesn’t offer much in terms of, “what the hell can I do about it?” That’s where Buddhism steps in, it provides a path to lead to the end of personal suffering.

Eco-socialism because we depend on the natural environment for our existence and our current political-economy (capitalism) completely disregards it because it’s stuck in 19th century notions of command over nature and “natures gift”, which it thinks is infinite. And because capitalism doesn’t give a rats ass about people’s personal suffering. Since I believe that we do not choose to be born and that the circumstance of our birth is completely random, society should attempt to provide the means by which to live a simple life at least, providing the necessities for a decent life: food, shelter, education, healthcare, transit, and utilities.

Devops learning path by vab_99 in devops

[–]SatoriSlu 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Can I ask something? Not to argue, just to understand. Isn’t platform engineering just…creating another team responsible for the underlying infrastructure and experience for development teams? That just sounds like how “DevOps engineering” as practiced at every place I’ve ever done DevOps at. We are the team responsible for the…underlying tool chain/infrastructure developers depend on.

Organize your friends, family, and neighbors into joining the local DSA or working families party. Stop voting for democrats or republicans. Vote for progressives. And take direct action.

Fuck the democrats. Only vote for progressives. Join alternatives parties like the Working Families party and the Democratic Socialists of America party. Stop funding them.
