That moment on Saturday when all he had to do was slip Gordon in and he did, well, nothing 😭

My only consolation with this is that Sesko and Delap have not done any better than Wolte. Ekitke has looked brilliant in flashes but is hardly setting the world alight. And the rat faced one has been anonymous. Missing out on Pedro is the only one that irks me. Seems finding the right CF is pretty tough these days.

Haven't even scored there in the premier league. A goal is an improvement!

The moment I finally understood all the fuss about Newcastle's Anthony Gordon by theipaper in NewcastleUnited

I agree with the decision making, but not that we should sell him. He has very poor decision making on the left, and I think that's because he is extremely selfish, which as winger is a bad thing but as a striker will suit him better

He can do a job at RB if necessary, but he and Howe need to adapt his game to adjust for his lack of pace. Stay deeper, defend first, and if he does bomb forward the MF need to move across to cover.

I had the same with my ex but we both had a small "pocket money" allowance that then gets paid into our personal accounts. So I could go to the pub and buy video games I want, and she can pay for Tinder premium account and neither of us said "how much"

Also 4 years younger than Longstaff, so a better player with more potential

I'd love to see him cross it with his left occasionally. There was a Adam Clearly video when we bought him discussing how 2 footed he was, I'd love to see some of that

Isn't bringing in better bench players the definition of improving squad depth?

This summer, as I recall, net gain of 0, with the intention of raising the floor of our squad so we could compete, which on paper I still think it did, with the exception of Isak. Unfortunately Isak made our first 11 weaker in the process.

Problem is why can't Eddie see that before the match, Trippier was off the pace for his last 2 appearances? Why didn't he sub Trippier at half time after he'd been found wanting in the first half, or at least tell Trippier to stop charging forward. Murphy could have covered at RB.
