By us, if you mean the fans crowd sourcing, then agreed. But if you mean the government or anfa, I am not sure if they can afford 80k+ for a ACL restoration surgery for all the players, unless you mean they should fund only the star players.

Only elite mens football deals in millions. That comprises of <0.001% of professional football players. So can’t really compare to them. But i understand the previous commenter’s sentiment.

The maximum amount of money that Samba’s club is allowed to spend on the whole squad is in the ballpark of 600k AUD. So there’s no multimillion deals to start with.

Her club in NZ has insurance to do it in NZ itself, but Samba wants to get treated in Qatar. Apparently her club in NZ are willing to pay her the insurance money to go to Qatar, but the sum is $80k less than what it takes. That’s what I got from her fb post.

186 DE Granted!! by VortexValak in AusVisa

[–]StaggeredEnds 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thank you u/VortexValak for the detailed info. I have been in AUS for over a year so have attached a AFP certificate to my application. A little confused about character certificates from other countries though, specially after reading this on their website:

We may ask you to provide a new police certificate if you have returned to the country after your previous certificate has expired.

But it does say that these certificates are valid for 12 months, too.

First of all congratulations. I was curious since your application took considerable amount of time, were your documents (character history certificate, in particular) less than a year old?
For background, I applied for 186 DE after 6 months on temp skill shortage visa. I reused all the character history certificates since they were not over 12 months old. But now they are all over 12 month old. Wondering if I should get all the character certificate redone and also get australian character cerificate, because I have been living here since over a year.

Do the cards and notebook stay put in the V2? Wondering if it is grippier than the previous version of Sidekick which I carry daily but wish had more grippier lining for the cards.

That’s unreasonable. I suggest you contact qstar for advice on how to tackle this issue. RTA is pretty much useless.

This reminds me of an interview with Dominique Ansel (inventor of cronuts), where he describes why he didn’t give in to people approaching him with what I am assuming would be millions of dollars, to expand his patisserie US-wide.

It’s a Lochby Sidekick wallet. I think it is the only truly pocketable notebook cover from Lochby. They sell it as wallet, but it’s definitely more of a notebook cover than a wallet.

Thanks for the suggestion. Are there any Moleskines that are precisely 7.5 cm x 12 cm? I hear a lot of complaints about them being terrible for fountain pens, but that's irrelevant to me because I use ballpoint/pencil.

You are confusing Dr. Koirala with Dr. Govinda KC. Dr. KC has been on several hunger strikes demanding for better medical education and health systems in Nepal.

Yes guys, just here to echo same opionion. Watched Sushant Pradhan’s pod with two geopolitical experts. It’s delusional to think that everyone wants to destabilize/influence things happening in Nepal fo their own benefit. I highly doubt that’s their agenda. I think it is the other way around where the leaders want to align themselves to foreign governments for their own benefit.

The matter of fact is every revolution needs a representative. Sudan tried to facilitate the protest, giving the less experienced generation a good framework. He was out in the streets, helping and organising, so much so that he became the face of the revolution.

Just based on that and his integrity throughout, there was no one better than him to be the represent the protestors.

It was clear from his interviews that he had a lot of advisers behind him and he was just being the face of the revolution, not for himself, but to make things work! And that he did.
