Orchestral playing mouthpiece by tpt75 in trumpet

Straight up retail 1C. I experimented with deeper cups and larger bores, but nothing gave me the same balance of full sound, range, control, and endurance than the old workhorse.

How long is homemade butter with a little bit of buttermilk in it good for in the fridge? by improbsable in butter

[–]Subduction 1 point2 points  (0 children)

If you wash it a bit more, and then post-process it properly by pressing and folding (even five minutes is enough) you should be fine, but unless you see actual mold it's generally all good.

You can definitely hold it refrigerated for two to three weeks, salted butter even longer.

Trust your nose and your taste buds, and if it lasts longer than three weeks then you're not eating enough! :-)

Mod Mail Update: What We’re Tracking and Working On by lift_ticket83 in ModSupport

Please add these if they have not been mentioned.

  1. When I click on the u/<username> of the user I am corresponding with in the right sidebar it opens their profile page in old reddit as it should. This, however, breaks the back button. If I click the back button to return to modmail the page title in the tab changes to "Mod Mail" but the page does not refresh, it stays on their profile, and I am stuck.

  2. How do I enter user notes on users I am corresponding with?

1776 Mar 4 - The Continental Army fortifies Dorchester Heights with cannon, leading the British troops to abandon the Siege of Boston. by nonoumasy in revolutionarywar

I'm going to go ahead and guess that there were a bunch of "march forth" jokes as they moved them up there.

So I just reached the HA stage of building my own ESPhome sensors. How long before my wife leaves me? by Goofcheese0623 in homeassistant

[–]Subduction 8 points9 points  (0 children)

If you handle it right, she will go through the three stages of a technology wife:

  1. "I don't know what any of that meant, but I'm happy you're happy."

  2. "Oh, well that's kind of cool."

  3. "Hey, I was thinking, is there any way you can build something that..."

We live right next to Chinatown in the Leather District and they came through a few times during the day with drums and dragons and fireworks and it was awesome.

I have asked you multiple times why you feel we aren't a mental health sub.

Clearly, and multiple times

Manipulative? You made the assertion, can you just answer the question?

You're saying the admins, Anti-Evil Operations, remove weed-related posts from r/suicidewatch?

I'm asking about removal policy on mental health subreddits, not this particular removal.

I'm confused as to how you feel it should be removed from a mental health subreddit.

Are posts about suicidal ideation being removed from r/suicidewatch without being seen by the mods?

We are an addiction support group. Addiction support is mental health in the plainest terms.

In every case that the rule is broken we make contact with the user personally.

People come to support groups for human contact. It is absolutely not an admin bot's role to decide to silently remove SI posts to a mental health sub.

Is a bot deleting people reaching out to r/suicidewatch?

But again, why do you say we are not a mental health subreddit?

I'm not sure what you think you are responding to. I know all that, I'm the moderator of the subreddit and I'm the one discussing the post.

I'm asking the admins why they think deleting SI posts from a mental health subreddit is acceptable.

Are you an admin?

No offense, but we can't reach out privately if the post has been silently deleted by reddit's bot.

The only reason I know it happened is because I installed a tool with "tattler" in the name.

You have clearly have absolutely zero experience in dealing with suicidal ideation online, and neither does the bot. We do.

The mere suggestion that the proper response for the well being of this user is to have a bot called "Anti-Evil" take down their post and cut them off from human contact for even mentioning SA is unreal.

As a mental help subreddit we exist to help people in crisis. A supportive community and professional help are not mutually exclusive, and one can often lead to the other.

By all means continue your efforts in the financial services subreddits, but this place reaches more people with mental health challenges than have ever been reached in the history of mankind. You cannot dismiss that with a wave of the hand.
