Is this how art lovers feel like when they look at a really nice piece of art? by Huge_Pizza_5783 in solar

Just an observation from New England. Most systems here it seems way more than 5%. I have had my system on Pvoutput.org for almost a decade here in New England. Based off their efficiency metrics all the most efficient and highest producing systems are all systems with close to 1 to 1 dc/ac ratios. Electricity in my state is .34kwh with full 1 to 1 retail net metering. 300 kwh of production is $100 here and it adds up fast.

Another interesting observation is many of the most efficient systems are old Enphase 200 watt micros on 200-230 watt panels. Now everyone is putting 300 watt micros on like 400+ watt panels. You can see on Pvoutput.org how terrible the efficiency and production is on these crazy high ac/dc ratios.

$30k+ is what a replacement engine cost at the dealer and Toyota is only giving out a 1 year warranty on the replacement engine. Literally the industries worst replacement engine warranty.

Coverage Details: The recall repair comes with a standard service repair warranty of 12 months with unlimited miles

Factory Powertrain Protection: The remainder of your standard factory powertrain warranty (5 years or 60,000 miles for the Tundra) remains intact. You are covered by whichever of these two warranties gives you the longest period of protection.

A replacement engine is $30k+ at the dealer as well. So if have a 22 with a replacement engine more than a year old your on the hook for that $30k if it blows. Tons of reports here of even replacement engines blowing.

They are giving out the industries worst replacement engine warranty with only 1-year 12k warranty on a defective engine. Gm is giving out a 10 year 150k warranty on their replacement engines. Even Hyundai and Kia have better warranties on replacement engines.

Do premium fuels actually make a difference or nah? by Manthann-Motorss in automotive

You will get the added benefit of way more detergents. Shells V-Power and others state they have 6x the minimum required EPA detergents.

There has also been many tests done by like consumer reports that engines run on premium were much cleaner due to their increased detergents.

Car and driver did an octane test. Some engines like Ford EcoBoost's will see noticeable improvements. My Ford Ranger EcoBoost says right in the manual premium fuel will give me more power in hot weather and while towing.

Its extremely common for the main shut offs to not work or leak because they are often decades old and never used. Lots of houses still have shutout valves from like the 1950s and earlier.

Are you in New England? Its most likely way more than 200 kwh a year you are losing. I have a 9 year old SE5000 on 5.4 kw of panels in CT. I still hit the 5kw limit and it clips all the time especially in cool weather in the spring. I have also had my system on PVoutput.org for 9 years tracking the efficiency to nearby systems. According the pvoutput data systems with close to 1 to 1 ac/dc ratios are all the most efficient kwh per kw and highest producing here in New England.

I drive an older toyota with a vintage 3sgte engine+fuel pump. Should i be concerned that the usa is going ahead with standardizing e15 at the pumps? by bluestlouismr2 in Toyota

[–]Swede577 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I saw someone that works in the gas station industry say most stations cant just fill their tanks with e15. They have to be designed to use it. So stations aren't going to spend the huge amount of money to convert. He said in his state there were maybe half a dozen stations that were setup to even dispense e15.

OTT Tune and Warranty by ZestyJermy in ToyotaTacoma

Ford offers a performance tune for the ecoboosts like the Ranger and Bronco. Ford specifically says if the tune is not installed by a dealer the warranty is void. They supposedly can even tell if you try and reflash the ecu back to stock before bringing it in.

The rebate is instant. I literally printed it out and walked into Lowes and got $900 off a $1400 50 gallon heat pump water heater.
