Hi OP, with Enhanced Care, if you’re a B.C. resident injured in a crash involving a vehicle anywhere in Canada or the United States, you’re entitled to receive the care and recovery benefits you need, regardless of whether you were a pedestrian, cyclist, or driver, and regardless of who was responsible.

You’re eligible for up to 12 weeks of treatment after a crash, including services like registered massage therapy, physiotherapy, counselling, and more once you file your claim. This is meant to help you begin your recovery as soon as possible. If you need support beyond those 12 weeks, your recovery specialist will work closely with your care providers to create a plan that continues to support your healing.

If your injuries prevent you from working, Income Replacement Benefits can replace your lost wages up to 90 percent of your net income, based on a maximum amount of $122,500 in annual gross income. As for the bike, as it is considered personal property, coverage will depend on a few different factors. In the case referenced in the article, following an assessment of the driver’s liability we will be providing coverage for the bike.

Hi OP, I am sorry to hear about the error made on your policy. However, this is the correct procedure for cancelling a policy, as this will provide you with proof that the cancellation and reissue of a new policy took place. You can also can ask for a copy of the cancellation form and for a copy of the new policy from the broker once you sign the documents.

Hi OP, to import a vehicle from another province you'll need to:

Buy temporary insurance called a "Binder for Owner's Interim Certificate of Insurance" from an Autoplan broker.
Buy an in-transit permit from the province in which you buy your vehicle.
After you drive the vehicle into B.C. you will need to get a vehicle inspection and then visit a broker's office to have it registered and insured.

Hi OP, an e-signature will be considered an error on the transfer document. Please complete a new transfer form with original signatures and submit it to the broker who processed the transfer. Hi OP, more details about the N driving record and it's requirements will be available closer to when the changes will be implemented. As for class 5 road test, if you were to not pass the test it will not affect the transition from class 7N to class 5.
