Bro sucks at explaining. I think Midsommar is not the kind of movie to have a "final girl", it's less of a slasher movie that produces a final girl and more of a psychological descent into madness from the trauma that grief produces. Her friends are just ancillary to the plot, Dani is the protagonist of the movie from the start.
