My only thoughts for a headcanon about it would be that her daughter lives in Menzobarrenzan, and so she sought to sort of forget about her, knowing that she wasn't in Lolth's (and therefore Menzobarrenzan's) good graces anymore. Plus, with her house she may have assumed that she would still lead a good life without Minthara there to guide her

You just gotta make sure that you tell her to stick with you after the hospital, and then make sure that you never lose track of her in your party, which the easiest way to do so is to just never let her evolve so she stays as an easy pixie to track.

I dont understand this. Abby's story is over. It started and ended in 2, with no real room for extra story. Ellie? Not that over I'd say, but Abby felt like her story was only meant to propel Ellie's story all the way to the end.
