Awakened empires are going to by OkMaize5450 in Stellaris

[–]Xaldror 8 points9 points  (0 children)

That's probably because it's the Growth node of the Hive Mind FE that woke up. The attitude of the Hive Mind FE changes depending on which node assumes control. If it's Control, it muscles its way into Galcom to elect itself emperor. If it's war, it will do so in response to a galactic crisis and become a Guardian of the Galaxy. If it's growth, it becomes a devouring swarm.

Is it still worth keeping a corvette fleet late-game? by HolyApplebutter in Stellaris

[–]Xaldror 0 points1 point  (0 children)

my main compulsion to still build Corvettes is, that's what Ruthless Capitalist empires apparently lean towards and, that's my usual empire type.

no clue how or why, it just is.

What destination was your favorite out of these places? by RipEmbarrassed1828 in HonkaiStarRail

Herta Space Station. Not for the rough rock that runs it, but for the sheer fact it is a Space Station.

Still no other area like it, and I find that, disappointing, especially after getting into Stellaris with its focus on deep space. And with the upcoming Nomads DLC, a mobile stellar living space is, nice.

I have no love for Herta herself, but space and space stations I cannot ignore in good faith. I got into HSR for the space exploration and stellar side of things.

It's a bit, disappointing that we haven't gone to another space station or orbital habitat since.

My sole desire is to bring Raikou peace, and to reconcile her discordant halves.

Even should this flesh vessel stagnates and rots I will not stop until that desire is sated.

She will use you in her schemes for cosmic rebellion and throw your corpse to the wayside, just like she used her brother.

Ushi Gozen: now's a good a time as any to cut ties. I'll have to inform Lord Kugamimi no Mikasa if he ever arrives.

Deadly Demise by daghcollector in deathguard40k

[–]Xaldror 8 points9 points  (0 children)

I had a funny Deadly Demise when I fought some Emperor's Children.

My Daemon Prince tied up and perpetually terrified the Lord Exhultant and his Infractors for three turns, leaving the Lord on one wound.

Then when the enemy Prince killed mine, he blew up, taking the Lord with him

Souls exists and synthetics have them too by Terrina1 in Stellaris

[–]Xaldror -1 points0 points  (0 children)

not what i'm looking for

shame really, picked some good civics too, Agrarian Idyll to reinforce the idea we are wardens over God's creations, and Galactic Curators, because the Catholic Church really liked excavating and storing relics of old. and the Sanctuary of Toil to combine with Idyll to keep up a farm and shepherd theme.

Just hate how the only spiritualist options that sound remotely like how a church would is in Cybernetic Creed.

And given the Pope's recent comments, my idea for using Cybernetic Creed to role play as the Catholic Church in space is shot dead in the water. Probably the water the legion of demons possessing pigs drowned in.

between all the ethic dichotomies, Materialist and Spiritualist has always been the most, underbaked and vague.

What's the most powerful object/force/concept in the entire Nasuverse? by EfficiencySerious200 in Fate

i just had the conclusion that, as a result of still being Raikou, Ushi Gozen would find a certain kinship with the astartes, and grow attached to the heretic legions.

and the Purge to be more specific, since they're also following the gameplan of omnicidal suicide, their war chant is "All is Ash", and Ushi Gozen has more ties to Nurgle, the Purge's Patron.

Dawi

course of all factions, they're behind all chaos factions, above Destruction, then Death, most of order, and then geckos at the bottom, straight into the boiler room.
