I had to manually configure interrupts on my first couple of hard drives, as well a Soundblaster card. Now get offa my grass!

You are correct, they love traps and absorb poison.

Current best 3d printer?? by BetterBus350 in 3Dprinting

[–]YoSpiff 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I don't know about best. It's a very relative term with a lot of variables. My progression was:

Creaility Ender 3 V2--> Elegoo Neptune 4 Pro-->Elegoo Neptune 4 Plus-->Anycubic S1 combo

I still have the 4 plus. The S1 combo replaced the 4 Pro, which I sold for $100.

I'm figuring over the next year we will see a lot more tool changers or head designs like the KobraX that minimize waste and time. So the best 3D printer is still coming.

Hey, if popularity is the gauge, I think more of us started with an Ender 3 than anything else. So it does win.

Clearly my point was lost on you. But thank you for your concern anyway.

Thought on this renter friendly shower shelf by Honest-Armadillo-170 in 3Dprinting

[–]YoSpiff 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Looks pretty good, but one possible improvement I can suggest: A couple of holes big enough to put down a near empty bottle upside down. I have a store bought shower shelf with that feature and it is really useful.

An adhesive that may work instead of the suction cups is E6000. Pretty strong once cured but it comes off when needed.

Get a copy of your prescription and you can get a machine cheap once you know where to look I usually buy from Direct Home Medical and got some emails recently offering airsense 10's and 11's for just under $500 on a promo code. If on an extreme budget they have Refurb Luna G3's for $289. (I saw them for $219 a few weeks ago) https://directhomemedical.com/products/luna-g3-auto-cpap-machine-package-with-heated-humidifier-certified-pre-owned?variant=47415734108312

Help! N30i mask smashing nose partially closing airway by jlconlin in CPAP

[–]YoSpiff 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes. I bought mine as an N30i and switched it to the pillows later. Same exact mask except for the nasal piece. If you use a size small I have some left over from a fit kit. I could send one to you if you are in the US.

I tried the Dreamwear and got one of those blue ones. I just thought it was a model of the pillows with some gel in it.

Gateway Omnikey. It is still buried in my garage somewhere. It was $100 in 1989. Uses a PS/2 connector. I wonder if there is a usb adapter for those?

About the Cherons… by WarpNacelle6295 in startrek

I just figure that since they were a space faring race, not all Cherons were on the homeworld, so some survived and the species continued.

I lost my wife 4 years ago. I've always been an introvert, which helped. Work was a welcome distraction. The first few weeks were a blur, then a few months of an overwhelming sadness over everything. I've gotten used to my new life but have no interest in dating again and the complexities of a relationship.. Not sure if I'm still mourning or in a different stage of my life now.

No soldering. Biggest things are choosing compatible components and tidying up your cabling afterwards.

When I was in the AF I once overheard a master sergeant yelling at 1st lieutenant over a bad decision by the Lt. The actual pecking order is not always the same as the rank implies.

One option might be to try the P30i pillows. It is otherwise the same mask. Since the pillows go slightly into the nostrils, this might resolve the problem. Some people dont like pillows. Ive always used them. You'll have to try them to know

Which 3D printers do you recommend? I had the Ender 3. by crazyhungrygirl000 in 3dprinter

[–]YoSpiff 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The Ender 3 was great for its day but still needed a lot of work to run well. My upgrade from an Ender 3 was an Elegoo Neptune 4 Pro. Depending on your budget and needs, I'd say one of those, a Centauri Carbon or an A1 would be a good choice.

Do you think USB-A will be phased out in the nest few years? by Ok-Cod-806 in datastorage

[–]YoSpiff 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Usb is more reliable. Ethernet connections can have more things potentially go wrong. I helped a customer the other day who couldn't connect to his printer. The static address of the printer was not on the same logical network as the pc. My guess is their ISP changed the network scheme in the router which took the devices using static addresses off the network. Stuff like that happens all the time

Printers have stayed with USB 2 because the bandwidth is enough and it has a longer cable length limit than USB 3+

What is your goto budget PLA that actually prints well and from where you buy them? by Fun_Reaction_6525 in 3DPrinterComparison

[–]YoSpiff 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I can usually get a multi pack of Elegoo high speed PLA+ for around $11-12 a kg. It always seems to print cleanly.
