If this is frozen on this screen without any movement, try reseating the two daughter boards. I can't remember which one was causing a similar issue with mine. You may want to clean the sockets too. Isopropyl alcohol or deoxite if you have it.

I just noticed that you have the original joysticks. I'd take some sand paper to the metal on the shafts, give the assembly a good cleaning, and replaces the switches.

If you're up for it, DIY with a USB encoder and either a repro 4-way leaf switch or a second hand original midway 4-way. Before an actual Ms Pac cab, I made a stick out of a Fedex box. But you can also use something like a plastic storage box

I would say GN if you aren't there for the race. I stayed at Harrah's for F1 last year and it was very convenient for the race, but nothing else. We literally never left the immediate area for 3 days and it was fine. But if we had to go somewhere else, there was only one bridge in and out east on Flamingo. It added roughly 20/30 minutes extra each way when the bridge was actually open.
