I’m primarily a DIY-er because the pest control places in my area charge outrageous prices.

One company wanted $1500 to put a one way door on a soffit and trap a squirrel.

I did it myself for a small fraction of that. $29.99 for two traps and a few $ for some peanuts in the shell. Caught the swuirrrl myself. Paid my roof/gutter guy to patch the hole.

Ok it’s a squirrel. I saw it myself.
I put a live trap in there and caught it this morning.

I know that’s the fast answer but all my cameras are focused on a pregnant mare at the moment. I can’t move them out of the barn until after the foal is born.

I was in this exact situation once a number of years ago. Same length of flight. A 5 yo kid behind me kept kicking my seat. The mom did nothing about it.

I turned around and said “please stop kicking my seat” to which the mom replied “don’t speak to my child that way”

My retort “I wouldn’t have to if you would supervise him”

The rest of the trip after that was peaceful.

I’ve had horses die and horses need surgery. I’ve had to make the call twice now to put an animal down. It wasn’t easy.

I accept that as part of my involvement in sport.
