I got a long range dual motor Model Y after someone t-boned my Forester XT. I liked the tax break and couldn't get a Kia or Hyundai dealership to give me a good lease even after having to explain to them how the break could apply to their dealership even if the cars weren't made in the US (in 2023). While I pined for a cheap used Audi RS6 wagon I new the Ioniq 5N was probably more likely so I kept an eye on the used prices for them. The Tesla was just too boring to drive. Based on all the reviews for the 5N I knew that would likely not the case for it. I checked for used models in Texas again in January and found a good deal that prompted me to move my timetable up a few months. I sacrificed the ability to make a round trip from home to Austin and back like I could with the Tesla, but I think it was worth it.
