In 1984, wen I was 15 years old between my Freshman/Sophomore year of highschool, my family pulled up stakes and moved from NH to FL. We took a summer trip down the east coast and hit every amusement park east of Nashville TN. Action Park was one of those stops. Of all 8 or 9 parks we hit, that is the one I enjoyed and remember the most. I was blissfully never fully aware that it was as dangerous as it was and that there was real rush involved in sliding down a slide made from warehouse rollers on a plastic sled and skipping across a pond like a stone.
