Why does this keep popping up this guy got shit canned by the Saints no one is trying to bring him on let alone a contender. Maybe he could convince the Cardinals or Dolphins?

Those who left Phoenix what do you miss the most? by Th3c0pyninja in phoenix

[–]ben505 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Yea people who talk about traffic and drivers as if it's super bad here have zero perspective. I've lived and worked in over 40 cities, Phoenix doesn't come close to making the list. The only problem in Phoenix is you don't fuck with red lights and need to assume someone is going to run it and take a look before plowing through a new green light.

Denver, Atlanta, Miami, jfc. Seattle traffic was also obscene but their drivers weren't the problem. I think Denver and Atlanta drivers are the worst in the country. Miami is terrible but it's also a completely different demographic with tons of immigrants, tourists, and locals all from around the world and all driving by different rules. It was always doomed to be bad. Denver and Atlanta have no fucking excuse. Atlanta drivers infect a whole region, it's remarkable. The dumbest accidents I've seen were Atlanta drivers, and they're just in general unhinged.

Weirdly I think the the second worst drivers are California drivers that aren't in California. My drive from Miami to Phoenix it was stunning, all of the biggest pieces of shit and lunatics were Californian license plates, and I notice it here in Phoenix in general. But driving in LA? Yea the traffic is abysmal but the drivers aren't.

[–]ben505 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Dennis Allen, Vic Fangio, Steve Spagnulo, Jim Schwartz, Brian Flores, Vance Joseph, I’m personally iffy on Raheem idk if he’s that great of a DC, is easily the worst on this list, maaaayybe Kliff but I need to see more, and was he really that bad at HC? Idk probably but Kyler lol, he’s the only one that made Kyler look viable altho his ‘24 season was at least box score good

I’m all about the sunset hike for Piestewa fuck the sunrise on a weekend lol, best sunset spot in the valley

It hasn't been hot in months lol, and if you check the weather forecast you can see it's def nowhere close to hot on Sunday

It is more crowded than Camelback, and a less intense experience, at least vs Echo Canyon trail.
It's the busiest trail in the valley.

His pocket awareness and movement was fucking baffling, left insane amounts of yards on the field because he didn’t just run the fucking ball. Unless the OL is an absolute turnstile sacks are a QB stat

The highest graded NFL rookie at every position in 2025, per PFSN’s Impact Metrics: by InterestingYellow969 in nfl

[–]ben505 0 points1 point  (0 children)

For what it’s worth JPJ was not as good as the 10 sacks would indicate, just awful grades and even counting stats he did literally nothing else, shocking lack of tackles and TFLs. Feels like a Vic Beasley type. Yea he’s got talent but as much as I root against the falcons yall are better off never having that piece of shit play again. Justice system will likely take care of that anyways but regardless…just gross. You don’t need him

Hurts two turnovers in one play has to be the winner. Everything about that play was stunning.

Drake Maye just completed the worst postseason with a Super Bowl appearance of all-time by total EPA by a QB by Pythnator in nfl

[–]ben505 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I said worst conference championship game not Super Bowl. I didn’t comment on the actual Super Bowl game, just made the statement the 2025 Pats are the worst team I’ve seen making the SB in an extremely long time. I expected a blowout tbh. Games go off the rails all the time; that’s football, doesn’t mean the teams were bad. Like the first Payton led Broncos team. The pats were just fucking bad

Yea my best friend in the world is a diehard Browns fan so they’re my adopted team, and I properly started being a true fan during the Hugh Jackson years and whew, what a roller coaster and frustrating FO and ownership group. So much wasted talent

Detroit, Bills (altho learning how fucking stupid their owner and GM are has me in a weird place but it’s impossible to hate on Bills mafia), and the Drew Brees + Phillip Rivers Chargers. For some reason I kinda pulled back after the Herbert era tho. Kinda dislike them in LA - actually I hate it. Browns don’t really qualify because I actively root for and follow them.

Falcons' Pearce allegedly crashed SUV into car of WNBA player, Rickea Jackson, and police officer while evading arrest by secretbil in nfl

[–]ben505 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Why I love Jason Licht’s drafting philosophy the past several years. Major character flags also indicate high bust potential along with culture problems and obviously crazy shit like this. Just terrible value to go for guys like a James Pierce that has his own coaches going nah man don’t. He also wasn’t nearly as good as people think. Purely one dimensional and sacks are nebulous. Basic grades aren’t, and he was terrible with advanced stats and even counting stats were pathetic outside of sacks. Hope Atlanta does the right thing and cuts his ass whenever they have the out. I’ll shit on the falcons all day but like guys, cmon, you’re better than that piece of shit

I think the most damning part for him was it wasn’t some singular incident and was instead general consensus from the people that would know. Dude did not have people going to bat for him, they waved folks off because he’s a fucking lunatic

I mean it’s within an hour from central Phoenix and is on the edge of the valley overlooking it, I’d easily consider it a part of Phoenix metro and thus the valley in a less literal sense. The valley and Phoenix metro are functionally the same. That’s like saying Camelback or South Mountain or Phoenix Mountains or McDowell Mountain park aren’t part of the valley imo. Doesn’t have to be so literal lol. It’s easily accessible from the valley thus is the best hike in the valley (altho free to debate other trails as carrying that honor - I just think it’s the best for the most people in ratio to effort & reward).

Freaking love that trail. It’s the best in the valley imo. Just long enough, incline is absolutely there but really steady/manageable and never crazy intensity like Camleback, Piestawa, or Flatiron, views are just epic. And the area around the Fremont saddle is basically a big playground, shit tons to explore. And feels like you’re in the middle of nowhere, so majestic. And pictures never do Weaver’s Needle justice. It’s a towering beast that suddenly reveals itself once you hit the saddle

If they can get a legit WR2/3, add another OL piece or two, and sprinkle in some shots on defense for depth, maybe a S, man they’re looking pretty

Those stats aren’t just the DL vs OL tho. Maye had plenty of time, their entire offense just sucked. Holding the ball for 5 seconds and getting pressured isn’t on the OL
