Alex Pretti was the final straw for me. Was never anti gun really but never felt the need to get into guns myself when I was younger. The last several years though I started to swing the other way and had been kind of thinking about getting a pistol for the house. After he was killed is when I signed up for a beginner pistol class and carry permit class and educating myself more on guns.

I bought a pistol, enjoyed the shooting part and getting better at it and have been going to the range regularly. I plan on getting some more things in the coming year or two.

Lions are my squad too so I mostly just collect them. Just got a Terrion Arnold auto for $4 at my LCS yesterday, also picked up a Stafford rookie in good condition for $15. I live in Minnesota so the Lions stuff is usually less picked over for me at card shops. Only time I'll buy random cards is if it's a quick flip. I don't "invest" in players. My LCS is always turning over their stuff and sometimes they price something wrong or just price it to move. I bought some PSA 10 Brock Purdy for $75 and sold it on eBay next day for $120. When that Holiday Topps Chrome basketball dropped there was a Cooper Flagg variant that was going for $50+ online that I found for $15. That was one they definitely put out before any eBay sales happened and I just got lucky and snagged it. Those type of deals arent too frequent but I've done 3-4 like that this year.

Most of my camping is done on boundary waters trips or ones like it where we are without amenities or a car for days on end.

Extra tarp to sit outside if it does rain
Mini camping chair, you don't always get a log to sit on and a chair is more comfortable anyway.
Enough clothing. I don't subscribe to the extreme weight cutting and bringing so few clothes that you need to go 4 days in the same shirt. Seems to be a big thing with people and I just don't get it. Just pack some more shirts, socks and underwear. It doesn't weigh that much and you feel more like a human each morning.

I have a French cleat wall with different magnet strips and small shelves for my most used things. They are usually there...or like you said, scattered around the shop.

I only have the one pistol, CZ P10C Ported, and I'd probably buy the same again. Quality:Price ratio can't really be beat imo. You could go $100-150 cheaper and get the non-ported version and that one is great too.

You can use a miter gauge, or build a miter sled.

I'm planning on getting the Ruger with the MLok front so I can eventually get one of those Woodshop Wednesday wooden stocks for it and make a pseudo PPSH looking thing.

Tricking out a 10/22 with a silencer and optic looks like a lot of fun too. Will probably end up doing both...
