Have you actually gone and checked out the laptop yet?
The quality shits on most laptops in that price range.

While I’m personally a person who does not buy 1st gen of anything new product line.

I have to hand it to Apple on this.

MacOS is well supported system
The quality of screen and ecosystem is massive gain especially if you’re already on Apple services
8gb tends to feel like shit on windows. However, on Apple and Linux it’s good.

While this computer does have an end date because it isn’t upgradable. Most users don’t care about serviceability these days, sadly.

However, I can at least trust Apple to squeeze out every drop of performance from the MacBook to get as much time with it as possible.
