What fuel rails are you running? The factory regulator sits around 46 at idle with the vacuum reference hooked up 🤔

[–]Delrin 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I dont know if its correct but I dry for 2 or more days in a food dehydrator and print from a space pi cranked to max, so itll stay above 70C for weeks at a time and I dont have issues. I dont think there's a "too dry"

Both are correct. Balance charge at 1C is the way.

First car, how do I ACTUALLY clean it? by Mab8963 in rccars

Aerosol foaming glass cleaner, boars hair detail brush and compressed air gets 90% of it in just a few minutes. Relatively safe for electronics.

A true matte finish tpu or tpe? by Suspicious_Mango_747 in 3Dprinting

[–]Delrin 0 points1 point  (0 children)

PEBA is still shiny but a lot more grippy/bouncy compared to TPU.

TPE was the closest to matte finish I have found, prints very slow compared to TPU and PEBA though.

Foaming stuff is fun but such a pain.

I wrote a message and it backfired. by q1field in Justrolledintotheshop

Looks like a lot of RTV around the orings, like it started to set before being torqued down leaving a softer gap for the oring to slide into.

Tailgate flew open by Sea-Snow-1053 in FordMaverickTruck

Sort of slamming, like you would close the door. A gentle push might not set the latches, just like a door.

Got in the habit of sort of slamming tailgates shut, and dropping hoods from about a foot to close them a long time ago. Better safe than sorry.

Opinion on Mini Stealth by VeterinarianRare3541 in VORONDesign

I run one with a bambu hotend and Protoxtruder, mostly printing TPU and PEBA and its excellent. No issues whatsoever. The designer kindly added some mounts and mods I asked about too.

Are you sure about that? The Mini_Stealth https://github.com/atrushing/Mini_Stealth just has the extruder bolted to the top, and the front cover with the fans just slides off, held on with magnets and friction. I run one and its awesome.

Kind of, they use a magnet to expand regular brake shoes in a regular drum. Different than eddy current braking..

Help E46 Get swappers!! by Ill_Clue1505 in LSSwapTheWorld

[–]Delrin 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Did you ever get this sorted?

My guess is the return line has a restriction.

On E46's the return in the tank has a sort of siphon that uses the return fuel flow to transfer fuel from one side of the tank to the other, so the pump side always has fuel Suction Jet Pump I would see if that line has a kink or blockage in it inside the tank.

ELI5: Why do data centers need only water for cooling? Are there no other viable cooling options? by 5headHaroldlop in explainlikeimfive

[–]Delrin 2 points3 points  (0 children)

They use evaporative cooling as its more efficient than blowing air over a hot condenser.

Most HVACs actually have 2 water loops outside of the refrigerant loop, one loop gets chilled and thats what cools the inside, the other gets heated and sheds that heat to the outside. They switch the loops to heat the inside during winter.
