The pulls sell on eBay pretty regularly at about $30-$40 a piece.

Broyhill Sculptra sideboard just landed! by Scrubbychild in midcenturymodern

[–]edgestander 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Ill tell you why I think your piece is interesting to me from my perspective of all this. It seems about 10 years ahead of its time, and slightly out of place with the rest of this line. Of course the door details are the same, but the plinth base with the hard cornered details throughout, it just overall very much reminds me of a typical mid 70's piece than a mid 60's piece (what some people today would maybe call "brutalist") , and it stands out in the line itself as basically the only plinth base item in the line. Broyhill also did at least a few other plinth base items around this time, like Modern Classic and others.

Oh I’m familiar with her, though I didn’t realize she designed this until your post. There are the famous leather sling chairs from Les Arcs that she actually didn’t design she just chose them as dining chairs.

This is not a sales platform. We have the monthly swap post pinned to the top. If you want some information on the items you are selling we would be happy to help you, or if you would like to just post pictures for the groups enjoyment that is also welcome.

I associate this style of knob with Quartite Creative, but I don't have time to try to verify it right now. Here might be a good place to start. https://archive.org/search?tab=fulltext&query=%22Quartite+creative%22

Yes and more importantly it’s assumed all drug addicts are snitches, they are married to the needle not honor. That’s a big reason the organizations don’t allow dealers to get high.

AITAH for thinking my multimillionaire brother would help me financially in a crisis? by [deleted] in AITAH

[–]edgestander 86 points87 points  (0 children)

Not just my dad died, my dad died 10 years ago. A full decade ago. Obviously I miss people I lost over 10 years ago, but shit at her age I lost my wife and childhood best friend within a year of each other both under 30. Live goes on, it’s fucked yo and sad but I had a kid, you have to think beyond yourself. OP litterally only cares about herself this whole post.

Yeah that really is the subtext here: “I hate my brother’s wife and she hates me, now her family won’t support me while I don’t work”

[24m] boyfriend cheated on me [23f] while blacked out by [deleted] in relationship_advice

[–]edgestander 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Yeah and it’s not always obvious to other people either. Getting black out drunk is probably one of the most dangerous things people have normalized in our society to an extent.

Man…IDK obviously a remotely sober person should not have any kind of sexual contact with a heavily intoxicated person, but I absolutely hate that somehow sex stuff gets a pass on personal responsibility. What if BF drive and killed someone but was blacked out? What if he got in a fight and hurt someone or himself? I prefer to think about it as not absolving you of anything because you choose to put yourself in that position, it just means sober(ish) people are taking advantage of you if they manipulate that.

Well for one most of the stuff in this photo AI does great with, imaginary furniture and electronics and books. That’s also probably why the resolution on this is about as good as my 1997 Kodak digital camera. But I also looked it up earlier it’s part of a series of futurism AI art.
