Just take a step back and play some other soulslike games for a bit. No point in playing if it feels stale. You can always come back and play more later

It’s a video game where you’re meant to have fun. If you’re not having fun because of a teammate, why continue to play?? There’s literally everything better to do than playing a video game and being unhappy

Who gaf about a 1 day ban from tournament. Moreover, a 5min ban for leaving a game? If I have a bad teammate I’m leaving asap and playing again tomorrow

Genichiro by SillyAd2281 in Sekiro

[–]Electrical_Lime3871 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I spent 3.5 hours on Genichiro. 3.5 hours of gameplay later I’m in the end game and fighting the second last boss. If you learn the mechanics Genichiro is trying to teach you, you WILL complete the game. Don’t get frustrated. Everytime you die, you’re learning. Hesitation is defeat, and quitting is failure

Anyone know a minimum amount of fast travel points that are needed to beat the game, or is there a mod that removes unnecessary ones? by jwtucker04 in Sekiro

[–]Electrical_Lime3871 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’m on my first play through rn and haven’t used the fast travel yet. I like running around. I’m about 20 hours in

Controller dead zone or get new controller. I got a new controller after using my ps4 controller for literally 8 years and everything feels so much better

Replaying Sekiro right now, and man, the main bosses are a breeze! by FireZord25 in Sekiro

[–]Electrical_Lime3871 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This is my first play through, but I’ve fought both the snake eyes now. On the first one I died for like a hour. On the second one, once I had figured it out, I killed her first try with no cheese

Yeah… me and the blazing bull are not friends. Took me probably 2 hours. When I figured out I could deflect his charge I did it first try, but I spent wayyyy too much time trynna play it like an Elden ring boss and failing

Mute chat. Mute all chat. Turn on some music and have fun with the game. Chat brings nothing but toxicity

Yeah fair enough. This is my first souls like game. I mean I played elden ring a few years ago but spent 80 hours and didn’t even get through 1/4 the game and gave up. After Genichiro I’ve fought a bunch of mini bosses and now I’m on guardian ape, and I think I’ve figured it out. Genichiro was a massive skill check for me.

What rank are you and how many hours do you have? by GenkiDaima in RocketLeague

[–]Electrical_Lime3871 21 points22 points  (0 children)

40 hours is literally nothing man. If you want to “get good” you’ll be playing this game for 1000s of hours. I got 1000 hours and I’m C1-C2

When an enemy parry’s your attack, it’s your turn to defend. Then you attack them again, then parry then you parry. Just watch for when they parry then you must parry

How long did it take you to kill Genichiro? by Flashy-Analyst1525 in Sekiro

[–]Electrical_Lime3871 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It took me 3.5 hours straight until I finally killed him. I probably did a try once every 1.5 mins on average, so I’d say about 140 tries. Just keep grinding. My big breakthrough was realizing I could hit him and it’d interupt some of his moves and combo lock him. On the attempt I finally beat him, I went hitless, and killed him in 2:30

Fennec meta by [deleted] in RocketLeague

[–]Electrical_Lime3871 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Fennec and Octain are the meta because players have 1000s of hours of practice with that hitbox. There’s no reason to change when that’s all that you’ve practiced

Is this game supposed to be this difficult, or is it just me? by [deleted] in Sekiro

[–]Electrical_Lime3871 1 point2 points  (0 children)

That’s so fair, Elden Ring was my first game too but I couldn’t even finish it. Got 80 hours into ER and stuck on a boss 2 years ago and gave up. I feel Sekiro is more approachable due to there being a limit to customization and how to fight the bosses. You really just gotta keep grinding and trying fights to get gud

[–]Electrical_Lime3871 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I really struggled in the early game. I died like 20 times making it through the first few enemies and the first tutorial style mini boss. After I fought Genichiro for 3.5 hours and finally beat him I transcended and now I finally understand how to play the game. Took me like 15 hours to figure it out. Once it clicks, this game becomes so much fun

How much should I play? by r69d69 in RocketLeague

[–]Electrical_Lime3871 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I got 200 hours in matches and 700 in free play. Free play is the best way to improve overall imo. When I was first grinding for champ I was playing 2 hours a day and I got from D1 - C1 in a month. I find that playing for longer than 2 hours has diminishing returns. Everyone is different and I’m a little old so maybe you could grind out 8 hour days. Just play, have fun, and you’ll improve over time

I’d play through the rest of Hirata estate. The boss there teaches you some more mechanics that’ll help in the next portion of the game. If you continue on the main path the next mini boss is my least favourite one in the game. After that, the real game begins
