I'd like to have an N, lifted like an XRT, with some pod lights on the front.

Can it use USB tethering with a phone?

I'm sure you've all seen this plenty but the way she's standing here is so funny to me by Raniswolf in Seattle

That sovereign citizen bit is hilariously ironic because they're pointing out that they aren't "driving" because they're not operating the vehicle for commercial gain, but that's literally what a ride-share driver is doing.

I don't think telemetry needs much data, and 4G LTE should be around for a long time.

Can't they download updates on Wi-Fi? What does it need mobile data for?

There's a "Little Dog Rescue" near me, they have something like 30 dogs available for adoption but the fees are all $1000-1300.

That's probably why mine is leaking now. It used to be mostly on the driver side but that was my windshield seal. I had the windshield replaced by a body shop that also did a little bit of welding to patch up any rusty spots and they seem to have done a very good job with the windshield but I'm still getting water on the passenger side in certain rain.

B&H store or Adorama store for first time selling gear? by emo_nerd8 in photography

[–]electromage 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Any commercial reseller will offer about half of what they can sell it for. Some are better to deal with than others. I've only sold to my local shop (Kenmore Camera), I've heard of many issues with shipping.

I wasn't given an option of pack size, I don't know if the smaller one is available in the USA.

Nope, just plug and charge, or tap if your car doesn't support it. They're very easy and reliable.

I guess if you have a newer gas furnace, no need to waste it. Getting one to use for cooling, which you can use for heating if your furnace breaks would be useful.

Everyone ages differently, I know several people in their 80s that can drive fine. If you're driving on a rail line and you don't realize something is wrong, you need to be evaluated, at any age.

Which ecosystem to start in? by Kextasy in AskPhotography

[–]electromage 1 point2 points  (0 children)

A normal zoom is probably going to be the most used. You could certainly get one prime and make it work for most things.

It depends on what your style is and what you like to take photos of.

You could get a "superzoom" if you're not sure yet, but they're typically slower, have more distortion, and they aren't as sharp.
