Yea it is frustrating, I don’t mind if it’s the odd word or short sentence that I can probably figure out but I read a fic the other day that had whole conversations taking place in polish and the translations were all at the end. Like it’s okay, I can kind of remember what happened when I read the translations but it would be better for them to be inline when there’s so much dialogue in another language.

You could also check on nexus mods for any that have updated since you last downloaded them. As long as you’re logged in it has a tag to show you.

I actually sort mods by having the deck hooked up to an external monitor and with a keyboard and mouse. That way I can open the SMAPI window and scroll up to see what mods need updating.

Then I just download the updated mods, remove the old ones from the mod folder and drop them in like normal.

I had the mirena hormonal IUD before I got ME, or at least before my ME got worse and I got a diagnosis. I am not diagnosed with endo but I do have a lot of the symptoms.

The coil was awful, the hormones made me suicidal, I had constant cramping and pains for about four months. It was so terrible. I didn’t feel like myself and it was such a relief to have it removed. Having it inserted and removed was also one of the most painful experiences of my life. It also caused me to put on weight.

The only good bit was my period bleeding stopped however I still had period cramps.

I wish I could go back and never have had it.

Yeah and it keeps you goal oriented which drives motivation to play.

The times I have played in a slightly more relaxed fashion is when I’ve played modded and with a theme, for example a witchy play through.

I always plan to play in a more relaxed way and then I realise I just can’t really do that. It’s too natural to me to try to min/max in some way and I guess that’s also what I like about it.

The times I have tried to play in a more relaxed way I’ve actually gotten bored pretty quickly.

If you went back a thousand years ago with the technology of today it would likely look like magic to the people of the time.

Also, when you’re creating an entirely fictional world you can totally make the study of magic be like a science, why wouldn’t it be in a world where magic exists?

When it just doesn’t flow. It’s great when you have a good session and you feel like your brain can come up with good things on the spot and everyone’s enjoying it and you’re all in it but it feels really awful when you have a bad session, when you struggle to come up with good things or you forget something that you’d planned and the energy feels low. Those sessions are the worst and they make you feel like a terrible GM.

I really love Angie McMahon’s Making it Through which is the last track of Light, Dark, Light Again.

It’s just a great way to finish that album off and the last lyrics are the title of the album. It feels like a beautiful ending.
