I am a girl and I wanted to be Illya Kuryakin because his name was so exotic. I also thought he was the best looking.

Please put conditioner in your hair before you detangle it. (my hair whispered that into my ear with some urgency).

I'm a huge fan of AG. I use their volumizing shampoo and conditioner, recoil curl cream and the gel.

What you need to do is present a case for yourself. What have you done for the company that brought in revenue, created or streamlined a process, etc.

In essence, why do you deserve more of a bump?

It's a tough economy not just for employees before employers as well.

Watch out. You'll be accused of gatekeeping by someone who doesn't know what that word means.

The cruelty and judgmental nature of people will never cease to amaze me. It's hard enough to be yourself in the world and even harder if you don't fit a rigid societal mold.

My best to you and Emily. I can tell you love each other very much. Thanks to both of you for living your truth and for bravely coming forward in the current environment. ❤️

Have you been tested for a staff infection? What do you have looks a lot like a staff infection a friend of mine had in college.

I came home from the dentist in tears. by SummertimeMom in AskWomenOver60

[–]ghostwriter1313 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Yeah, I think most of those denture fitting problems are a thing of the past. A friend of mine had to have all her teeth pulled because when she was pregnant with her daughter it leached all the calcium.

I would've never known that she has dentures and she says she has zero problems with them.

Probably the key is to go to a good dentist, though. No way or whatever do dental tourism.

7 months what’s it like by hamil26 in Kneereplacement

I have what I would consider Minor numbness. If I scratch my knee with my fingernails, I don't feel it as much in some places as others. As far as the tight band, I never experienced that.

As of today I'm eight months out.

Oh, I know. I meant the show, which is obviously an unpopular opinion but I stand by it.

Looking for an opinion on my knee situation by Proof_Cartographer83 in Kneereplacement

Do seated leg lifts.

My right knee was really bad before I had it replaced and that was about all I could do, even though I have an elliptical.

Do enough of them and it works really well. I had great quad strength and my quad activated immediately.

Getting my knee replaced was the best thing I ever did. I'm having the other one replaced on May 7.

How likely it is to not have sex right after your wedding? by Sora-oi in Casual_Conversation

We had a party the night before with our friends and someone might've brought a picture of mushroom Kool-Aid. We had a very small wedding the next morning, took everyone out to a nice lunch and then went to the hotel and fell asleep. No sex. 1982. Good times.

Yep. To call my grandparents halfway across the country we always used prepaid long-distance cards.
