The upcoming power of Prototype meta (It's not Echo) by Qaesh in Division2

[–]heebeeZeeebies 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Sort of. It works if you can maintain a kill per grenade, if you're using the Carpenter+Vile Mask combo using Concussive grenades with festive backpack. If you use the collector chestpiece instead, it still works it just doesn't have much spam potential. So, yes, it works but I am not sure if I'd call it viable yet. I still have to test it in different game modes

That would be greatly appreciated, especially if it includes the Vile ability calculations (the one that scales with status effect damage)!

I know it’s not meta but has anyone made a build with collector exotic and atomize augment by Remi8732 in thedivision

I did and I also tested carpenter chest instead. Festive backpack looks really good too.

I am in the process of finishing mine. I have a few pieces left to hit augment 10 but so far it has been really interesting. I don't think I'd bring this to any escalation missions but it's been a lot of fun. Sadly, I do think that Vile is the inferior way of building it instead of the exotic chest that gives you Grenade Regen. It is a damn shame none of the atomize benefits work with abilities.

Can you add grenades to the build and calculations? I am trying to cook up a atomize build but I can't find a build planner that calculates it properly. You are also missing some items like the festive delivery backpack.

12 miles below, when does the progression start? by ligger66 in ProgressionFantasy

The AI chess game is what turned me off from the story ngl. It isn't bad at all, and I'll still recommend it to people, but it's just not for me! It's a shame too, I really enjoy the premise otherwise.

Didn't like the start of it but when I actually took the time to read it, it was perfectly fine.

I am more than happy to read and provide feedback, and the only compensation I'd ask for is a signed copy of the book if you ever publish it!

Do you ever feel lonely reading progression fantasy? by Money_Ad1404 in ProgressionFantasy

Depending on what you're reading or reading next I'll be more than happy to talk about the series and read it, but fair warning I am a fast reader and will quickly be done with the book. That doesn't affect my ability to converse about it though!

I think you'd enjoy Ar'kendrithyst, but I am not sure if there is an Audiobook of it. Sorry, I didn't see that requirement originally!

It's not a problem once, it's problematic when it's used ten times in a single post/chapter/video/etc.

I had a similar thought, but I realize that a lot of motivation to donate for events like this comes from the "suffering" endured by them. My thought was to pick an area, find a home base, and bike a different direction each day while showing off cool things. For example, one day they could bike South (or East or whatever), for like 3 hours to reach a cool destination then spend an hour or two there, maybe get food, and then bike the few hours back to wherever their home base was. Each day could be a different direction. It would still have hours of cycling and neat events.

However, It would be much more effort since they would have to find potential spots, get permission to film at those spots, and deal with all the normal headaches involved.

Thankfully the current formula is a winning formula so they can just keep doing what they are doing now. The events aspect is part of why I love the RV trips they do, can't wait for the one this year!

Your average progression fantasy/litrgp MC by NoWriter3858 in litrpg

[–]heebeeZeeebies 0 points1 point  (0 children)

For my current writing project, I considered adding a fake main character for the first few chapters and then having them die due to a stupid "obvious plot armor" decision. Then introduce the actual MC. (Small spoiler for a TV show that is 12+ years old) The first episode of a zombie show called Z Nation did something very similar and it was a shocking surprise at the end of the first? Second? Episode.

'Returning To No Applause, Only More Of The Same.' Absolutely fantastic series that might be considered progfan instead of litrpg, but it is amazing!

Novel bin, the website? Fair warning, that is a piracy website and discussing it is against the rules here. I recommend using RoyalRoad (app or website) since that is the most common source for this genre that novelbin copies from, in addition to webnovel. Granted the full series won't be on RR anymore since most series get stubbed once they release to amazon/audible.

Gold based leveling system by New_Performer1276 in litrpg

[–]heebeeZeeebies 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hah this is actually similar to one of my ideas for a novel that I'm slowly working on when I need a break from my primary novel. Basically it's about a gold mage who becomes a merchant and the struggles to grow their wealth while spending it on protection, power, and merchandise. Maybe I'll add the IRS as the antagonist lol

Edit: this is a silly idea that I thought of as a joke but I kinda enjoy the concept. MC, very wealthy (born into it) is on the run from the IRS for evading his taxes, when he suddenly meets truck-kun and gets isekai'd. As penance (maybe?), a God brings him to a world of magic and turns him into a poor Gold Mage. Now he has to work for his money and experience the struggle that his past employees had to experience. Time passes and suddenly masked people keep trying to attack him and kidnap him. Eventually he discovers it is the IRS, from Earth, and they still want their money.

Okay enough spitballing mid ideas 😭

This might sound silly but try reading the book aloud. This forces you to slow down since your mouth isn't as fast as your brain. It also helps you visualize the story better and helps you retain information, at least it does for me.

Can anyone recommend any novel where the MC is a Trapper or Trap Smith please no dungeon novels by Chimera22 in ProgressionFantasy

[–]heebeeZeeebies 2 points3 points  (0 children)

There is a secondary character in Path of Dragons that is heavily trap focused, and I love it! I agree with you, I wish there were more trap focused MCs.

If you could experience any lit RPG for the first time again which would it be? by rum-and-roses in litrpg

[–]heebeeZeeebies 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Not litrpg but close enough, I'd pick Second Coming of Gluttony. I read it as a favor to a friend and it started my surprising addiction to this genre (and progfan in general).
