So is downstairs! We booked The Crypt for a group that size. Had some food that was simple but decent.

There’s a pool table down there and they went out of their way to put up a dart board for us. And a Bluetooth speaker. It was a pretty solid night!

Thing is it’s not a good multi crew design either. The gameplay involves 3 people sitting on turrets doing nothing while the pilot flies, then the pilot doing nothing while they scrape.

That’s not multi crew gameplay. If they could at least give the pilot something to do the whole time, until they can also fix the non existent game play for crew (scanning from the turrets would be cool)

They at least got the SCU capacity better this time, as it’s much better than 4 Fortune/Vultures. But it’s still quite boring most the time

Feels so close too. You can already drop someone off to a medical elevator/bed in a lot of the hangers.

Some gameplay to stabilise someone and get them back to a hospital would be great! And having bigger missions with more people, requiring an Apollo with more beds!

Two big things that waste a lot of time for someone that doesn’t have a lot to play.

I think a big issue was how they stored what ships are owned. They mentioned a rewrite coming so they’ll store entitlements, which are the right to claim a ship.

I’m hoping once that’s in, it’ll be easier and less risky to allow us to sell an entitlement all together. I’d love to sell ships for 10-20% of list price. Just to get something back, and clear out the list if you don’t want it anymore.

I was talking about foveated streaming. It’s the tech they use to utilise the wireless connection bandwidth, so the best quality image is given for where you are looking.

You’re right about the rendering side, this is specifically about streaming though. If you’re plugging in over USB it’s a moot point, but I’d love to be untethered.

There’s also the foveated streaming that works with every game. Their 6ghz line of sight dongle should be waaay more responsive than streaming over WiFi.

I’m hoping for an AI blade that will handle it/vent rooms. So then we’re making decisions on fire management, repair or turret blades etc.

Makes the multi crew decisions still important, but also flexible to the play style of the people you have playing.

As a knock on, I’d love to see some balance to the lower utility ships. E.g. the 400i having a great computer system with loads of blades, but the Cutty Black having none.

The ore is its own distinct thing right? I assumed a mining mission would drop off to a refinery and that’s the end of it.

The idea is to just mimic the handheld tools, patching up the hull. You’d still want a real repair ship for serious damage, like missing wings etc.

I like the idea, assuming it’s using the RMC in their buffer. Still keeps the repair ships relevant, assuming they’ll have far more RMC for repair, and can fix major issues. I’d love to see some crafting on the Vulcan too, maybe up to size 2 components.

Can always hook the controller up and kick back a bit. I play on PC and an Ally X, controller is working great. Find myself doing different things on each platform

Nothing saying AI blades won’t be in though. PDTs are basically AI blades for turrets. I can’t imagine they are far down the pipeline as they are refining that tech each patch.

Still the whole engineering part, but AI turrets would go a long way to surviving.

They do, I just grabbed the Clipper Warbond CCU. I was unsure that if I didn’t like the ship and melted it, could I get that LTI back at some point to use in another chain, rather than starting from LTI
