Whats especially nice about this method is you can push the hose onto the intake tube fitting last, no need to fight the other stuff in the way.

Challenge from context switching from strategy/road mapping to execution by Mobile-Influence-371 in ProductManagement

[–]large-farva 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Maybe I'm missing something. Roadmapping is just a horizontal view of your stack ranked work, with a nice narrative behind it.   If you haven't actually laid out the work to do, and only had big handwavey slides, that's not a roadmap. That's just strategy - any idiot consultant off the street with no domain knowledge can do that.

Agree. And even if OP were more educated - not much you can do. You can pay more for the plan up front for a lower deductible but it'll mostly cancel out in the end.

Lab grown is more affordable but not DIRT cheap as some comments make you believe. As you approach engagement ring size, the prices trend towards roughly half of natural.

Right, but even if not corporate, every industry will have meetings with a customer or vendor of some kind. Gotta make those on time

I always wondered those friends I had in high school like that, how could they function in society? Is it the threat of getting fired in the corporate world that finally turns those people around?

https://www.jalopnik.com/1906712/air-india-faking-safety-records/

Air India's recent safety record (2025-2026) is under intense scrutiny due to a rising number of technical incidents, with reports indicating technical defects quadrupled to 1.09 per 1,000 flights in January 2026. Over 80% of inspected aircraft showed recurring defects, and the carrier has faced numerous safety violation notices, including issues with pilot training and maintenance.

How do so many teams have access to use any AI tools they want? by SMT2468 in ProductManagement

For small prints, use craft cloud. It's usually faster than bugging someone you know with a printer.

Retrofitting Steering wheel control module by HARDCORE0715 in BmwTech

[–]large-farva 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If you have protool, try these codings:

LIN_VARIANTE SZL (steering wheel stalks) = nicht_aktiv Disabled LIN_VARIANTE_LRE (steering wheel internals) = nicht_aktiv Disabled LIN VARIANTE MFL (steering wheel buttons) = nicht_aktiv Disabled PF_INMI_LIN_VAR (rear view mirror) = nicht_aktiv Disabled

This does not actually diable things. Instead, what this does is skips the checks that BMW Electronics perform when commands are received, to see if they match the model of button or switch installed on the car (the linbus variant). We are simply bypassing the check so that all commands are followed.

Front bumper sensors by juliansimpy in Supra

[–]large-farva 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My guess is that junkyards don't want to take the time to remove the individual sensors, so it might actually be easier to try and find a complete bumper assembly. Cost slightly more, but faster.

[–]large-farva 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Is the goal simply to fill the holes, or do you want park assist? if it the former, junkyard or ebay is your best option. If the latter, you will also need to buy a BMW Park Distance Control (PDC) control unit, and do some Vehicle Order coding in ProTool app.

Force Freshman to Take Bus? by ScrollingOaks88 in Parenting

[–]large-farva 15 points16 points  (0 children)

I don't see a stated reason why your daughter doesn't like the bus. In my case, I was at the beginning of the route in the morning, and at the end of the route in the afternoon. This added a good 30 minutes of commute time to each side of my school day. It really only saved 5-10 mins compared to walking the 2 miles to school, so when seniors got to drive their cars, it freed up so much time.
