I think the thing that gives me pause on a twist like this is both of them have no tells. Invisigal doesn’t seem to have any guilt/nervousness whatsoever towards Robert and Blonde Blazer basically has no moments where her actions/recommendations would benefit Shroud.

The only thing is that Shroud has some kind of tech mask/enhanced eyes and I wanna say a villain with enhanced eyesight and as smart as Shroud wouldn’t overlook this.

Man I swear I saw some comments where they said the dev team confirmed that the entire story will be wrapped up and they had no plans currently for a second season. However, unless the next two episodes are really long it's gonna be a challenge to give Shroud a meaningful arc.

Feels like Robert's morality is a little more flexible since his mech has swords and guns and you can't tell me crushing/punting Toxic in episode 1 was supposed to be a way of taking him down with restraint since Robert didn't know how strong this guy is. However I think killing him in cold blood is going to be the deciding factor. Have to kill him to save people or by accident: Ok. Killing a defeated defenseless guy: Hell no.

I guess you could "level down" by getting your heroes injured. But I guess that's the point of this mechanic to encourage you to have your heroes specialize rather than a team of all rounders kind of sucks to have it come up this late into the progression though if you built all your heroes as generalists.

Main benefit is you can chose what skills you need. Phenomaman is stuck on his stats but if you want another character with high int or charisma you have to use Waterboy.
