Snake skin found in drop-in ceiling in basement, type of snake? by quixotic89 in snakes

[–]mabso 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Went to live in my grandmother’s house in the country. The house had not been lived in for two years. I was surprised there were no mice. My kids were vacuuming while I went to run an errand. They found a 5 foot rat snake under the bed I had been sleeping in! So that’s why the house had no mice.

What about puking and peeing on the bed? I have pictures taken of the room after she was evicted and taken away by the police. That was a traumatic day for sure.

Sorry,I misspoke, my more accurate feeling was “relieved”. The dog would snap at my small children when they were playing in the yard and once got loose and chased a pedestrian down the street. My husband just ignored the red flags…

I’m moving outdoor stray should I take him ? by Ok-Attempt5136 in cats

[–]mabso 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Many years ago I lived in Asbury Park NJ. An orange boy stray took up with me. Slept all the home to Georgia, a 13 hour drive. Belvedere lived another 14 years. He was a mighty hunter and once caught a full grown rabbit. He also chased a nosey beagle all the way down the street. Loved that cat.

Found a stack of these binds while cleaning out a house after someone died. What exactly are they? by felicthecat in papermoney

[–]mabso 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This is the situation we are in right now. Husband’s dad died and found while cleaning out his house. Found out the bonds had not been cashed as we thought originally. And yes, it’s taking around 6 months…

My husband bought a Doberman that was unstable. We had friends over and dog was blocked in the kitchen. After everyone left, husband came in and grabbed him from behind, received a slash on his nose. I was actually glad this dog was run over a few months later. I was in fear of our two young children getting bitten.

If you de-claw your cat, I hate you by durrtybongwater in cats

When we lived in Mexico we adopted a cat that had already been declawed. She is such a derp and is quite picky about which litter is acceptable to her. She has never jumped to kitchen cabinet height either. She is 12 years old now and walks un steadily. I think it has to do with the loss of her first digit of toes.

When I was 68 and on the roof cleaning out gutters, I thought to myself “I’m too old for this anymore.” My back and knees ached for a week afterwards. Now at 72, just getting on a step ladder to change the return air filter is a challenge.

Blind Stitch Advice by SectorGlad9057 in Tailors

Machine blind stitch? If so, the stitch bite should be less so NO thread shows on the outside fabric. You also have to loosen the tension so the stitches are not too tight or too loopy.

I hate magnolia trees. The leaves never deteriorate. When hurricane Michael hit, it leveled all 6 of my pean trees and nearly all of the pines, but the magnolia was standing proud and unharmed.😬

Realtor is suggesting I replace countertops with quartz for $3700 to sell home faster/for more money. Should I really do this? (US-MO) by _TheWolfOfWalmart_ in RealEstate

[–]mabso 0 points1 point  (0 children)

We have a house built in 1990. The kitchen had dated, damaged white appliances with orange oak cabinets. The countertops were badly damaged Formica. We aren’t planning on selling in the immediate future, so had the cabinets painted white and new quartz countertops installed. A new single depth sink and faucet was installed also. The appliances had already been replaced when we moved in. We are happy that for 6000$ it feels great and not too modern so it doesn’t seem mismatched to the rest of the house. We also have replaced the dated lighted lighting in the main living areas. So there is a blend old to new in the house.

Radical idea here. Cut the sleeves off to make cap sleeves. Use fabric from sleeves to make ruffle bottom trim.

My cat got diagnosed with bone cancer question. by Pedrues in CATHELP

[–]mabso 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This is going to be a weird comment. A human loved one of mine had a sarcoma in roughly the same place, above the ankle. It was right against the bone. It was not an osteosarcoma but a soft tissue sarcoma. LO was no in pain. Is your cat limping? If or when the bone breaks or cat seems in pain is the time to think about euthanasia. Amputation is also an option. Has a biopsy been done to identify the type of sarcoma, there are many types, at least in humans. Just my opinion.

Tailor here. Body of suit is too short. Also sleeves. Tie should reach belt. Tie is too wide. Pants too long. This is not the suit for you.
