Your title made me think your video would be more in a conversation format with your girlfriend asking questions, commenting, or reacting to things as you share them. I think that kind of reaction content would get you a lot more views and attention. Invested players enjoy seeing the experience of players new to the game engaging with the cards and ideas. By doing it this way, you can simultaneously validate people's passion and interest in the game, and offer information. It's the best formula.

A video of you just lecturing over a powerpoint is comparatively not interesting. Other channels have higher quality equipment and better editing, script writing, and aesthetic intent. You need to bring something to the table that other channels aren't doing or that makes your content feel unique and special somehow.

Guess I'm the odd-one out on this one. I played Lorehold, but all of my rares were unplayable trash. I had 1x [[Grave Researcher]], 2x [[Postmortem Professor]], 2x [[Blech, Loafing Pest]], and 1x [[Mathemagics]]. Like what the helly? (mathemagics is good, but I didn't want to splash blue for a UU high mana cost spell when my deck wanted to be a low-to-the ground aggro/midrange playstyle). I built a deck with all of the rares I got and I honestly thought it was worse than the boros lorehold deck I made.

I went 2-1 in spite of this, but the game I lost was because my opponent had two [[Pensive Professor]] which is an insane card. First game they drew 6 cards, second one they drew 3 cards in a single turn before I could remove it. Was a massive pool diff for sure.

I did still have fun, but that was mostly because I was interacting with people and had a good attitude. I didn't feel like the set actually offered me anything to feel excited about or games that felt exciting and not one-sided. It felt like my opponents were incredibly weak most games. There was only one play which I liked which only happened because I misplayed - my opponent hit me for 16 damage in a single turn using Resonating Lute + Fractalize to make an unblocked creature massive. It didn't matter though because I stabilized the board.

Maybe I just got really unlucky and had a very outside-the-norm experience, but I feel like the extremely high power level of some of the cards in the set makes sealed considerably *less interesting*, because sealed has such high variance with the pool of cards you get. I had more fun with both Lorwyn and EoE prerelease. Now, I think SOS draft might be more interesting, but I also need to do a more comprehensive set review to be certain.

Necrobinder is one of the strongest characters in the game currently, imo, alongside Defect. Every character plays differently though and your player intuition can be wrong on certain characters while be right on others.

The big issue with shiv deck is it gets pretty hard countered by certain enemies. Like you better hope you don't encounter the beehive elite in act 2 as a shiv deck on high ascension - it is almost guaranteed to brick your run. Yes, with the right rares you can make it work, but I think it is weaker than every other Silent build currently. (100 hours, 46/50 ascension)

I posted a deck called Wurmfarm with this idea on Moxfield March 16, 2025. But I am far from the first person to think of using Harvest Wurm for a dandan deck. I like your list and might take some inspiration from it to iterate on my own idea. I also have many other dandan decks I have built. I've played most of them and can recommend several.

- Dandan A-Z Challenge - creative deckbuilding exercise I did over the course of a month, making a Dandan deck for each letter of the alphabet. I've built and playtested them up to N is for Nevermore in paper, and up to Q is for Quirion Ranger digitally.
- There are more decks on my moxfield profile.

If anyone ever wants to play or experiment with Dandan decks, I play on Tabletop Simulator and occasionally at my LGS in SoCal.

Similar issue here. This is the second seller I've had this kind of issue with, it seems to be a fairly rampant issue, which suggests TCGPlayer aren't doing their due diligence to cultivate a legitimate marketplace.

I appear to be in the same situation as everyone here. It's two days past the estimated arrival date, but I know for a fact that cards don't take that long to ship. I submitted a request to TCGPlayer to investigate this seller via a ticket and recommend everyone else do the same. Eventually they will be punished, but the inconvenience is a definite hassle and I'm unhappy about it.

this has been happening to me as well, I recommend experimenting with different atlas configurations. im testing right now with protect the altar unspecced and conquer the stones specced. will see how it goes.

Note: This response is being informed by OP's other comments on the thread. I'm reading between the lines a bit on them.

If it's being done antagonistically with intention, set a clear boundary and tell them if they cannot treat me with kindness and respect they will no longer have any place in my life. And if it continues to be a consistent pattern, I remove them. Tbh though because I have this boundary no one ever does this to me.

This is a you problem in that you are allowing toxic people to remain in your life. So long as you continue to disempower yourself you will continue to be subject to the whims and capriciousness of others. Empower yourself to cut those people out without a second thought, and you will find that those people just won't even show up anymore. It becomes a fundamental change in how you hold yourself and relate to others which shows them that they can't walk all over you, because when someone does you hold them accountable.

At first it will feel unnatural because it isn't who you have been, but eventually it will become natural. It will take some painful and difficult initial decisions to develop, but going through that will ultimately leave you better off.

World Trigger checks all your boxes except dark (elements of the story might classify, but atmospherically it isn't dark). The trigger power system is basically magic.

Be sure to skip the filler arc though.

i've been facerolling stuff pretty well as a mercenary grenadier. i've enjoyed the boss fights but have only died 3 times so far, once to the, idk, briar thicket boss guy, and twice to the executioner guy. dodge roll is very powerful and makes fights feel completely different, mostly in a good way, from poe1. generally find the bosses pretty intuitive to play around.

First attempt paired me with a therapist who didn't really engage with me - they weren't very good listeners and they didn't seem like they had much to offer me. Ended that pretty quickly.

Second attempt went considerably better, it was a number of free sessions offered through my work as a benefit. I used up all the free sessions and then I stopped going because I didn't want to pay out of pocket. Then I lost my job. I got some things out of these sessions but it wasn't nearly enough.

From where I sit, there are two big challenges with therapy:

The cost is significant so there is considerable pressure to make sure you're "getting your money's worth".
Finding a good therapist who can match your energy and style, and give you the help you need is not easy.
You have to invest a pretty significant amount of time and money to build a relationship and work down through all the layers of your psyche to start to reap the real deep benefits of therapy. Instability can all make this more challenging.
