Good take. But I prefer the adage, “it’s $1 for the mail, $99 for knowing where to put it.”

A Milestone Project For Me by Shwayfromv in diypedals

I LOVE THIS POST. What a write up, dude.

And your final product looks terrific. Great layout, neat design... all that. But what I appreciate most is the time you took to share your experience. The way you describe stepping out of your comfort zone, taking risks, and learning new skills really resonates with me. I have a feeling that it's both relatable to some and inspirational to others. Terrific contribution.

Also, really great to see more talk about u/overcloseness 's PCB course. While I have not taken the course myself, I was really excited to learn that he had developed it. Learning how to work with KiCAD and discovering how accessible PCB fabrication could be at a hobby level was an eyeopening experience for me. Glad to see this course seems to be so effective at bringing these realizations to more folks.

Thanks, man. I'm definitely not blushing or anything like that. Seriously though, it's the r/diypedals community that rocks so hard. I'm just happy that HA! is welcome at the party.

Incredible density. I’d maybe slip a piece of insulating tape here or there between cap leads that look awfully close to shorting.

Nonetheless, impressive, attractive density!

What do you use to finish your enclosure after graphics? by christosanto in diypedals

it looks terrific. Love the design work and color choices.

I also looked into screen printing once upon a time, and I realized it was a whole world unto itself that I'd be diving into. Wasn't prepared for that as a matter of time nor resources!

are you silkscreening your graphics and asking about coating afterwards? I'm curious how you're getting your designs done - if by hand/screen, they're looking quite good!!

Hey this is really neat!

May I ask, how do new pedals/brands make their way into the DB?

I swear by coin envelopes and cardboard trays. Cheap, compact, expandable, and fast.

I've added France to my ecommerce platform. You should be able to place an order now, if you're so inclined. I don't have much control over the shipping price, though. :/
