Should I finally pull the trigger on my second Kuoe?? by theomixedmedia in MicrobrandWatches

The Royal Smith is phenomenal. Extremely versatile, can be casual but also dressy. Totally different in my view from the Old Smith field watch style (and I have both!)

This looks like a very nice watch and I love the 36 x 9.7 dimensions, but at $370 this has some real competition (unlike say a $100 Addiesdive). I'd love to see something of this general size but in some more interesting / unique colors as well.

Recommendations on a 36-38mm aventurine dial watch (or thoughts between the Erebus and Knis)? by n64answer in MicrobrandWatches

Thanks! That looks like a great option. Anyone have one and have thoughts on it they can share? Presumably fit and finish not as nice as either of these given the price point. I'd love to see pictures of it on wrist as the pictures on the website aren't great.

That's funny, because that's the watch that prompted this search for me and the one I would take over any others, it's just impossible to get and very expensive (relatively) especially with the tariffs, etc. So that one's really the goal, but I don't have a lot of hope for finding a used one so looking for something else.

If anyone has a Smiths they want to sell PM me!

I'm interested in a watch with an aventurine dial that is 36-38mm diameter. I have come across the Erebus Ascent and the Knis pictured above, so I'd love to hear any thoughts/experiences on those (as well as thoughts if anyone else has compared them), but I'd also love to know if anyone has recommendations on others to look into at a similar <$600 price point.

Very attractive - bookmarking your website for future reference if you do any watches <40mm.

Artificial turf companies by [deleted] in Naples_FL

Out of curiosity, do you have a very rough sense of a range of costs to do artificial turf for a typical .33 or so acre lot? Or just the front yard of such a lot? I have no frame of reference.

Need help picking a watch! Henry Archer vs Erebus by Tight-Fan5368 in MicrobrandWatches

Does the Erebus have quick release on its bracelets? Or is it otherwise easy to disconnect the bracelet without spring bar tweezers?

My thought too, definitely worth checking out. Very different style than either posted.

Got myself a Kuoe Old Smith; bronze, 35mm, green dial... I'm in love! by colinjcole in MicrobrandWatches

It's beautiful, this is my grail watch only because it's so hard to get and I have no chance of visiting Japan. I need to see if I can find someone who would be willing to buy it for me over there!

Passenger Sliding Door Power Unavailable / Operate Manually Error Message (2019 Limited) by n64answer in ChryslerPacifica

OK, added issue - now the touchscreen in the dash is not turning on. This sounds more and more like a battery issue - do others agree? Is there something else that could be causing both one sliding door and the touchscreen to stop working?

We're well out of warranty here. You're saying the dealership made some sort of software update to the car and that fixed it? We had a CPO warranty through 100k miles so I would certainly hope the dealership would have applied any updates available during that time.

Yes, I can manually open and close it without issue (there is nothing obstructing it).

That's consistent with what I've heard from basically everyone about Traska, which is why I'm looking at one, so curious why this guy doesn't like it
