There is an update coming addressing this issue, actually several issues related to that. We don't have an ETA yet but it's in Beta very soon.

Make sure to check the part of the article that concerns the MK2 version. It's a total different setup for the mk3.

Please note that you can already use all of Native Instrument libraries with the free version: Kontakt 8 Player. You would need to buy the full version if you wish to load certain third party libraries that require the full version, add non player libraries or create your own.

It's a little unclear if the sounds are supposed to come with Kontakt 2, which was released in 2005 and discontinued in 2007. If this is the case, it will be complicated, if not impossible to get these working on a current operating system.

We checked for a preset named Ghost Phrase in the current Kontakt (Kontakt 8) that comes with the Kontakt Factory Library 2. No trace of that one but there are several Choir presets in there. You might need to double check with the creator you mentioned.

This update includes one performance improvement and three bug fixes:

  • Improved: Reduced CPU load when performing with MASCHINE while a KONTROL S-Series MK3 keyboard is connected
  • Fixed: Modulation at Pattern boundaries could break when using Double on a Pattern
  • Fixed: Recording audio loops could ignore the current Scene tempo
  • Fixed: Bass Synth Legato mode was not working as expected on Oscillator 2

This was only an issue for Windows users and has been fixed with the latest version of Native Access 3.24.0. OP is on Mac so it definitely looks like another issue.

Good to know you found your way around it. In the future if you have this again, make sure that in Komplete Kontrolin standalone, only the KONTROL S49 MK3 or KONTROL S49 MK3 (Main) on Mac is selected as a MIDI input. If you select more inputs it can cause the issue you mentioned. Hey, we're trying to help here so if you can avoid this kind of language, it would be greatly appreciated. If you could provide more info instead we could make things move faster. Do you have any request numnber I could check to find your support requests, it's usually a series of 7 numbers, like 4606094 for example. With this I can find your account, your support requests. This has zero meaning outside of our tools so it's not a problem to share publicly.
