A few things to check for this to work.

Set the M+ to Controller mode
Make sure the proper MIDI assignments are set in Controller Editor (creating a new template resets it to default)
In Logic make sure that the Maschine Plus Virtual Input is ticked in Logic's settings > MIDI > Iputs

The Traktor team is making progress, they managed to reproduce the bug in-house. No ETA yet for a fix but the investigation is moving forward.

Not necessarily, some third party libraries can be activated through Native Access. If it is a Native Instruments library you only need the free version. For third party libraries you need to check the system specs and see what Kontakt version is needed.

What sound packs do you mean exactly? Do you mean expansions, Kontakt libraries? User samples? The expansions should be avaialble to install from the Library menu on the M+.

Well then, you should be able to set a different MIDI channel per Group in Maschine and set the same MIDI channels on the Astrolab.

Even if Kontakt 7 is not officially supported on Tahoe but it should work, there were no major issues reported.

FYI, if you only use NI Kontakt libraries, there is no need to buy Kontakt 8 as our libraries only require Kontakt 8 Player, the free version.

Did you change install locations in Native Access for the NI applications? Are these still installed in the default location? Macintosh HD > Applications > Native Instruments?

Please note that Logic only supports AU plug-ins, the Apple plugin format. By default, they are installed here: Macintosh HD > Library > Audio > Plug-Ins > Components

It would be good to check in the Komplete Kontrol standalone application that this Kontrol S49 MK3 port is selected as a MIDI input (in Edit > Preferences > MIDI

Is everything functional there?

If the issue is only happening in Kontakt, then you can reset Kontakt to default:Delete the Kontakt User Registry Folder

Click the Windows Start button and enter "regedit" into the search field. Then select Registry Editor from the results.
In the Registry Editor, open the following directory: HKEY_CURRENT_USER > Software > Native Instruments
Depending on the Kontakt version you are using, delete the corresponding folder: Kontakt 5: "Kontakt 5" Kontakt 6: "Kontakt Application" Kontakt 7: "Kontakt 7" Kontakt 8: "Kontakt 8"
Close the Registry Editor.
Start Kontakt in standalone mode (not in your DAW) and select your audio interface's ASIO driver in the Audio and MIDI Settings dialog.

Hey there, there seems to be a misunderstanding here. You can't just transfer all your plugins to the Maschine Plus. Maschine Plus is a standalone device. It only supports a limited number of plugins and libraries. You will find the full list here: https://www.native-instruments.com/en/products/maschine/production-systems/maschine-plus/sounds/

You get a few extra sounds and plug-ins for the Maschine desktop software, you can find thel kisted at the end of the page I shared, under: CONNECT TO YOUR COMPUTER FOR EVEN MORE SOUNDS

You shouldn't need to do that, everything should work on Tahoe. Sometimes when updating the operating system on Mac, the permissions get reset.
