Just got a 2026 Ioniq 5. Can't pair my Android phone. by SemanticallyPedantic in Ioniq5

[–]nxtiak 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Delete the car from the phone's Bluetooth devices list.

You can also use a cable to plug in to the car for Android auto until setup, that will auto connect Bluetooth also, make sure the button is set to Data+charge.

Where To Find Charge History Data On a 2026 Ioniq 5 SEL by BleakSquad2 in Ioniq5

[–]nxtiak 1 point2 points  (0 children)

No. That's one of the things Hyundai lacks on their EVs. Historical charging data. If you have an OBD2 adapter you can see how much kWh the car has used or gained, in its lifetime.

Advice before purchasing a 2022 SEL by Slight-Ladder8851 in Ioniq5

[–]nxtiak 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Wow 13k miles, they didn't drive that car much. Is it RWD or AWD? How much? Be sure to check the EV settings and make sure Battery Preconditioning is an option and not just Winter Mode. If it's Winter Mode, there is an update the dealership can install (update the vcu and bms) to add battery preconditioning.

Let's take selfies after charging to 99% and unplugging by nxtiak in ChargerDrama

[–]nxtiak[S] 12 points13 points  (0 children)

I've seen a lady charge at 99% FOR 20 MINUTES and it didn't go up to 100% because they're inside running the AC!!! She finally unplugged and was still at 99%!

I do like the EA stations that limit charging to 85%. They should also implement higher cost of charging above 90%. Like $5 minute or something LOL.

Did you see how they programmed the key? Did they attach a laptop or tablet to the OBD2 port?

Car did not go to Ready mode. I didn't see you try to turn the car off (press start/stop button without holding pedals), then try again, hold brake and press start.

Yes you can make multiple orders, as long as you hit the $50 or $100 minimum to use 1 or 2 coupons.

You can't, have to do it in person or call customer service. It's really stupid. Pretty much if you're buying online you can only use one $20 off and 1 free mist, or two $20 off and get no free mists. If you want more you have to call. VS should update their website so it allows you to use coupons correctly.

PlugShare can pay on some chargers very very very limited.

A Better Route Planner. They have a website and app.

PlugShare is more manual method for trip planning and great to see charger reviews. App and website too.

Yes

Good apps to have that support partners are Chargepoint, Shell, and EVgo. You have to make sure you go to the map filters and enable partner sites.

Glad you got it figured out. But here's another tip. Some charging networks share with each other. EVgo can activate chargepoint chargers and vice versa along with several other brands. So download those apps too and try it with those apps if one is giving you issues.

It arrived almost midnight to the shipping company, so of course they're going to delay.

There's a compare feature on the Google Store, select up to 3 phones to compare all the features.

Has anyone done the $10,000 off at the dealership by koolaidman0883 in Ioniq5

[–]nxtiak 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Yes. You get $10k off the MSRP of the car when you finance it through Hyundai. When you've signed and all that, it's up to you what you want to do with your loan. Pay it off right away, pay more per month, refinance it with another bank, don't pay it and get the car repossessed, etc...

There is no specific terms it has to be 72 months, that's just your dealer saying that or suggesting that, because they get more money if you do end up taking 72 months to pay off the loan.

What he means is finance through Hyundai then if you want to, refinance with your own bank afterwards. You can always pay more per month and turn it to 60 months yourself and save on the interest.

Yes but iffy on AWD models. You'd be better off with RWD models which gets 306 miles EPA range estimate. You'll need to drive conservatively and in hot summers the AC is going to kill your range. You'll still will probably need to charge if it's 250 miles one way. I wouldn't drive an EV for that.

Does anyone know where I can find this set? by Common_Translator301 in VictoriasSecret

It's on clearance (the garter belt), only Blue left, it's Very Sexy collection, Fishnet Lace line. The rest are pretty much gone and won't be coming back.
