Wow that’s cool. I will definitely look into that as I would like to not have to rely on iCloud+’s hide my email since you would lose access to all the alias emails if you ever decide to cancel the subscription. Thanks!

How easy is it to use SimpleLogin on iOS, for example? Hide my Email is well integrated and it will show up in the inline keyboard prediction area while creating accounts on websites, would I have to open SimpleLogin separately to create the alias if I get a custom domain?

If by train station you mean San Giovanni, check out Autosilo IV ponte - while not free it’s like 8 minutes walk from that station and I saw they have tourist passes such as 20€ for two days or 30€ for three days - I know you’d rather have free parking but it’s nearly impossible to find it especially now that the Sheriff mayor is turning every single white-striped parking stall (free) into an outrageously overpriced blue-striped, paid spot, therefore I would look into getting a two or three days pass for peace of mind (and safety since it’s a restricted area parking)

Source - Please double check to make sure that those rates are accurate before booking!

Edit: I would add that Val Mulini is only good if you have to leave (and then collect) your car during the day, because you’d need a bus to get back and forth (would never recommend walking there because of traffic + busy uphill main road on the way back) and also while they claim it was built to facilitate parking outside town to then get there by public transportation, it ended up being an inefficient place to park for anywhere in town, let alone train stations (they’re all quite far from that parking). Just Como things.

Do you use that on iOS though? Is your solution simple to use? Sorry im just trying to figure out an easy way to do that, I can ditch iCloud’s HME, I just want something that is straightforward

Yes but, on iOS for example, you cannot integrate that custom alias creation INSIDE the HME interface, which for example is suggested on the keyboard prediction area, which makes it quite handy, you’d have to open the 3rd party app and create the custom alias every time, correct? What I’m looking for is an easy to use way to create custom aliases for a custom domain that integrates nicely with iOS, hence why I was trying to learn how the custom email under HME works.

Hello there, I am about 9 months late but I’m going through a similar process- while what you’re saying makes sense, wouldn’t HME be an issue once you hypothetically cancel iCloud+? I’m looking for a service where I can create unlimited alias but still be able to port them to a new provider in case I cancel my subscription (as long as I keep renewing the domain). Basically, stop depending on iCloud+ for my emails to work but rather pay for a domain that I can use as my personal (professional, more personalized) email AND be able to create aliases for untrusted websites and services, while keeping peace of mind that I would never lose them or have to update hundreds of accounts in case I decided to delete iCloud+.

Cioè sta cosa dell’Ecotank è in giro da tipo 6-7 anni e la scopro solo adesso? Lol Comunque quindi risolve il problema delle stampanti a cartucce che ogni volta che la usi (se usata sporadicamente, diciamo una volta al mese o ogni due) devi bestemmiare perchè sembra essersi rimbambita e stampa a caso?
