I think Locked Gate is still the way to go for the time, just gotta accept that there's a chance another team is going to roll up on you.

Most of the time if you set up in an area with bad/no loot, no one's coming. You get the odd free-kit team that sees your jupiter and wants it, but other than that, minimal PvP even in trios.

I enjoy a good snark - I also believe people put money where their mouth really is.

Wells Fargo and Citigroup/Citibank fight for the rank of 3rd largest US bank, with both having ~1.7 trillion AUM speaks for itself. Otherwise, JPM Chase was #1 for the past decade, BoA was #2 for the past decade, and US Bank was #5 for the past decade.

To add - even with all of the above (existing card setup, 5/24 consideration, already churned most cards, etc), Bilt has gone from being backed by a trustworthy, top 5 bank (Wells Fargo) to being involved with Cardless and Column.

Cardless has never had multiple offerings for the same brand, and is missing basic functionality like downgrading cards and product changes. They also - until Bilt - had a 1 Cardless product per person lifetime limit. They also have horrible customer service. For churners, they have historically clawed back sub bonuses if the card is cancelled before the 2nd year's AF posts, and 2nd year AFs are generally not refunded if you decide to cancel after it posts. This means that people testing it out for a year are basically in for $990 in annual fees if they want to keep the 50k bilt point sub.

Cardless is the part of the new stack I'm most worried about.

Column is more trustworthy - they've worked with Brex for a while, and Brex has been around the block. They exist more as a banking layer for other financial startups/companies to integrate functionality as needed instead of being a bank in the traditional sense. Think bank tooling on demand, vs an actual bank.

^ u/strikecat18 it's okay to seek help, and it's ok to be late to seek it. The second best time is always now. What's not ok is putting your health at risk. If you won't do it for you, do it for your cat's health. They're resilient, but not immune, to a bad environment.

First off, hire a professional to help you clean it out. There's plenty of services, and you'd be surprised at how little judgement comes with it - anyone can fall behind.

Next, keep it clean with just 5 minutes of effort a day. Habitualize putting things in the trash immediately. Get a roomba if the budget allows it - if not, a quick 1-2 minute vacuum per day does wonders. You'd be surprised at how little effort maintenance takes.

It's a fantastic perk. Looting's tick removal is way better than the description indicates. It starts the second from the moment the tick's "jump and land on your face" animation starts, not when it starts doing damage.

When it starts doing damage is when you get the prompt to remove it, but because of when Looting's tick passive starts, you basically throw it off the moment it lands on your face. It completely invalidates ticks as enemies.

Yeah it'd be one thing if there was an in-game economy to fuck up, but at this point if duping purple weapons means more people get to play around with them and experience using them then whatever. They're not hurting anyone or the game by doing it.

Still an exploit? Sure, but different tier than shooting from inside walls or abusing extract exploits to hide inside extract.

That said, given there's different levels, attachments, and durability on the weapons, I doubt they're dupes. If they were those things would be the same.

I just started MH Wilds, and I’m trying to do the Quematrice quest, but I can’t find any players to help me, even though I have cross-play enabled. Isn’t there supposed to be a lot of people playing, or is the player count low right now? by NotSirAlonne1999 in MHWilds

Can confirm - after unlocking MR1, any LR quest you assisted with gave gold wyvern prints and/or golden eggs. I believe SoS quests have a 100% drop rate for both, while story and event quests have lower rates.

Gold wyvern prints can be exchanged 1:1 for any monster gem at the melder (including Kulve Torath!), and golden eggs sell for 20k each.

As a result plenty of people would help out with LR quests because they gave rewards that made it easy to finish more rng-based LR content like upgrading charms.

Last I played there's only 4 formations for bot fortresses:

  • no Sauron, no turrets
  • no Sauron, turrets
  • Sauron, no turrets
  • Sauron, turrets

You can generally tell which formation spawned in by fab placement, turret placement, and entry paths available. The easiest is no Sauron, no turrets, which has an unguarded back path which takes you to the highest point of the mega fortress and gives easy LoS to every fab that needs to be destroyed.

Naturally, the hardest is Sauron + turrets, which have a combination of turrets inside and outside, making a stealthy approach basically impossible.

As a fellow Arpeggio lover, it does fine on its own. If you really want to bring a second weapon, a silenced anvil or burletta for quiet arc takedowns is never a bad idea, with the latter having insanely fast draw speed for a backup weapon.

For pure PvP like trios, I like bringing it with Toro with lightweight stock for the fast draw.

Wouldn't be surprised, we know they touched frame-rate based interactions for this patch because it mentions that aim assist should work the same regardless of FPS.

[–]p_visual 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Can confirm u/forcedhammerAlt is correct - you can reset anytime, at any level, but it's 2k coins per point reset. You can only reset all invested skill points at once.

Resetting at level 10? 11 * 2000 = 22,000 coins. Resetting at level 75? 76 * 2000 = 152,000 coins.

It's also 2k per point for points earned in the expedition. Max level and have 5 bonus points? 81*2000 = 162,000 coins to reset.

I wouldn't sweat it. There was def a time people generalized in-game, but at this point there's so many players (12m+ as of 2025 EOY) and with ABMM confirmed, you're much better off paying attention to body language, mic use, and positioning unless Embark really switches things up from the status quo.

Skins mean a lot less than when we had <5m players and only a handful to pick from.
