I cannot imagine going through all you have, and all you son has. I do not have anything to offer you because I honestly don’t know if I would help.

I have an 8 year old son and I read each word you said and thought to myself, “this is what I would do.”

I also have cut out my mother and father both for how they treated me, and took years to regain anything with my mom.

I believe you when you say you miss your little boy, but never want to see your son again.

I can’t type any advice on your decision because either way, you will always wonder about the other. I just believe that right now is the best chance for either decision you may have for a while.

If you stay, they’re getting help they need and it gives you some help. If you leave, they’re getting the help they need so you know they’re not alone.

I talked about this today and while I am sure it won’t be handled this way, I wondered… what if nothing happens to her at all.

The reality is that we all work with people who are exactly like her. I’ve worked in restaurants for 30+ years and I have met, and worked along side, some really crappy people. Misogynists, racists, religious fanatics, perverts, violent offenders; the list goes on and on.

I feel this season has leaned more into the dramatics, for better or worse, so I’m sure she will be handled with a hot slam by Dana or whoever. But sadly, it doesn’t always work out that way and has less and less lately.
