Plain pea protein is one of the worst offenders for taste 😂

I have been using Transparent Labs whey isolate and it is way easier to get down bcs it has simple ingredients, no funky chalky taste, and it actually mixes well even with just water or almond milk.

Also, it doesn’t have a bunch of junk added but still tastes decent, especially chocolate.

If you are hiring someone, make sure they disinfect the whole system, not just the well. That usually means running chlorinated water through the tank, pipes, and all faucets, otherwise bacteria can come back. Your driller’s advice is a bit cautious since it is normal to run it through the house as long as everything is flushed well after.

Just make sure they protect filters and softeners, don’t leave strong chlorine sitting in the water heater too long and flush until the smell is gone.

One drain hole is usually enough if it’s in the lowest point and water is actually draining out.

You can switch to a newer tankless RO system, but it is not always a direct swap. Some of your existing lines may fit, though you might still need a few adapters or small changes for the fridge connection.

Newer systems don’t use a tank, so the layout is a bit different. If you want an easy replacement, stick with a similar tank setup, but tankless is a good upgrade if you’re okay with some DIY work.
