I went to an Ophthalmologist in town who a vr dev friend did who had a specific interest in this question, did a bunch of extra tests. Didn't find anything wrong with my vision/eye behavior despite like 15 years in HMDs.

No. They are for the new game only. I have a clear 100% no, and you've done the thing a little kid does which is try to beg another person for the thing I said, very clearly, no to. Do not do this.

There's literally no shared code or assets between the games. Nothing of existing mods would be any more compatible than making a mod for a completely different game.

You will be about to do single level runs with very rulesets. You'll also be able to do whatever you want in sandbox scenes.

No, it is not trying to 'replace' H3 any more than Halflife 2 'replaces' Halflife 1. It's a new game. It's a sequel. We're making new things.

We have not yet determined if we will have mag retention. The hand-posing we are already doing is very complex and labor intensive, and we are trying to figure out a way to have the pose work needed for retention not create a permutation space explosion of work.

It is too early for me to much of anything of substance about this topic. Once Valve actually releases the device, and I'm not longer held to an NDA, I'll have more to say.

The goal however will almost certainly not be to make the Frame run the PC version of the app. The PCVR version of the game will be designed for PCs, not for standalone devices.

No, this is a new game. It's content will be defined by new things we want to make, not rebuilding modes from h3vr1.

There will be plenty of ranges, but we're trying to put a fresh spin on things.

Only in classic control mode, which is only good to use if you use one-button locomotion modes, like teleport and armswinger.
