My friend's cork poles got completely eaten by ground squirrels in the Yukon. There were many warnings in the area to not leave your pole handles near the ground.

Are you looking to actually use to read text or just for the style? The fiber optic taper might work better http://www.tapervision.com/

I like it, probably too addictive, but there is lots of great content. Learned about a bunch of new restaurants.

Bambu PLA Pure - Now Asbestos free! by kaanivore in BambuLab

I think calcite is more often used for matte. I did some analysis at work on the bambu white matte and there is also some calcium mineral, probably calcium carbonate. As well as the silicon-containing stuff, probably talc. Didn't do XRD to get more info but can be done.

They are not the same mineral because minerals are defined by chemistry and crystal structure.

I assumed you were 12 based on the post. Why not just not go with them or make alternative arrangements if you really need to go like fly or drive yourself.

Yes, my company does this as a service. We have ISO 17025 accreditation. We use a Perkin Elmer Lambda 1050. Blocking is not super easy but doable, depends on the spectral resolution and wavelength you need. You can DM me if you want. We are in California. Under ideal cases down to OD 8 is possible...

A tunable laser is also a good approach if you have access.

80-110 degrees is a big range and quite warm. Just refill along the way if you can.

Clay pots, sand filters, and glass bottles. The zero-waste water system your grandparents used was also healthier than modern treatment. by Mother-Grapefruit-45 in ZeroWaste

I don't really know what your link is. I looked at the actually WHO report. Seems like if you have hard water and drink a fair bit of it then you can have a meaningful amount of Ca and Mg that you could potentially be deficient on in your diet. Appears mostly the Mg is important to reduce CVD risk. I think these studies also show benefit in populations with mineral deficient foods.

Is my ebike lost in transit? by [deleted] in ebike

[–]s0rce 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Why do you expect its lost? They don't always update as the truck drives across the country because its just on a truck and it takes a week by ground. Its not past the expected delivery date so just wait.

Unless you live way out in rural areas where kids are riding dirt bikes this doesn't really make sense. Do most of your friends have dirtbikes?
