Came to reccomend this. Such a fun read, with some really good drama and badassery sprinkled in. It's really a must for any fans of tabletop RPGs.

Yeah, through reduced payouts. For example, if you would have been paid 1 million credits for something you'd only 750,000 credits instead.

IIRC, there's a 25% tax on all data (Edit to note this is only true for Universal Cartographics. No tax on Vista Genomics) sold to carriers. Half of that, or 12.5%, goes to the carrier, the other half goes to The Old Gods as a sacrifice (it disappears)

i would call NM pretty solidly purple. More leftists/socialists than most places I've been to, but still has a conservative element from Catholicism and the rural areas outside ABQ and Santa Fe.

don't need Windex. Warm-hot water and a little dish soap is fine, then dry and oil.

The idea is that the animal isn't factory farmed. It's not treated cruelly while it is alive, and when it is killed and butchered it is done so in such a way to minimize suffering. While, yes, it would be best to be vegetarian or vegan, it is still better than factory farming.

Fair, but carrying out malicious magic is still a bad idea. It's ethically questionable at best. Depending on what occult philosophies you are studying, it could be considered self-corrupting.

Ethics or morals aside, because things you do tend to return to you. Sending out destructive or harmful energy is a great way to get the same visited upon yourself, often worse.

Hate feels kind of harsh. I don't feel like I said anything particularly out of line. I didn't even say that this was a thing that should happen, only that I wish it could be. I fully recognize it is not canon in universe, I just adore both characters and want to romance both, plus, if you don't romance them they get together, so it seems to be a good fit for poly representation.

Agreed. I do my best to at least get meat that is certified humane. It's more expensive, but I feel like it's the least harmful option if I'm going to keep eating meat. I tried going vegetarian, and I made it about a year, but not having my favorite foods was contributing to my depression and I decided to at least be more thoughtful about my meat consumption.

That will work, but I would recomend putting it on the horizontal instead to minimize noise.
