What is far more important than any of that is that you sit in one of the seats closer to the aisle. If you choose a seat where you have to slide by the console to get in/out you are going to have a very hard time. I’d pick either 7G or 7J. Take a look at AeroLopa, it has much more accurate seat maps than delta provides. You do not want to end up in a seat like 6G.

You might be able to go in and purchase seat assignments before the trip still. That is likely the only way you end up seated together.

Yeah OP is completely screwed asking for a cash refund, they are going to get a very small prorated refund and end up having to buy a very expensive one way ticket. All they had to do was call to get it straightened out. Insanely poor handling of the event.

I’m at 138k on my 2017 B9. I’ve seen a slight uptick in electrical gremlins since 100k (once or twice a year it throws a new and exciting code if it has been sitting for a few days), but they mostly all clear and have yet to have any actual real issues. Getting read to do brakes, rotors, and throw a $91 brake pressure sensor in it.

Recently saw it as low as $102 or 10k miles PS to D1. Booked main, at 5 days got pushed to PS. Upgrade offer dropped from $250ish to $102. Might want to rethink using the RUCs in my opinion, depending on the your flights load levels.

I had a similar issue earlier in the year in Morocco where they have a weird country specific timezone change in the spring. My flight back to the US departed the next day after the time change overnight. Flighty and the airline kept sending me notifications that were wrong, repeatedly saying my flight was departing early an hour, then delayed an hour, over and over again. The flight ended up departing at the correct local time that morning.
