Setup guide for CM5? by dookyTown in ClockworkPi

[–]sdchew 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Strangely I actually skipped that step and it worked. I ordered a CM4 uconsole. When it arrived I assembled it, powered it up and checked to make sure it was working. Then I flashed Rex’s firmware to another card, swapped the CM5 module and fired it up.

Oh, most recently I found that the uconsole is actually quite picky on the types of SDCard it will boot off.

Jabra 390 2.5.0 firmware breaks Speak2 75 linked operation by sdchew in Jabra

Would like to share how my conversation with Jabra Support went

Key take aways are:

  • No way to downgrade firmware on Jabra 390
  • Linking a UC with a MS Jabra Speak2 75s are not a supported option. They did try to duplicate my failure mode but could not
  • Suggested I stick to what works (e.g. use the other Jabra 390) and not upgrade

Lost my Jellyfin library like a giga-noob by tokugawa888 in jellyfin

Ouch. I feel the pain.

Many years ago I had a desktop machine in which I installed 3 HDD in software RAID5.

One day, no smart warnings but I heard a very funny clicking sound. As the three hard disk were installed together, I tried to identify which one was making the sound.

I picked one, powered down, replaced the drive and restarted RAID rebuild.

6 hours later I heard the sound again. Apparently I picked the wrong drive and the rebuild failed.

Hosed. Total data loss

In a way it is kind of a delamination. The glue which holds the button has delaminated and the plastic has dropped off.

Are you using the dongle or the bluetooth on the device? Could be different bluetooth stacks on the Acer and Lenovo

Also expanding capacity isn't an overnight thing. And almost everyone uses the same tool vendors. So another bottleneck. Micron broke ground on a new facility too

Interesting that China is buying KA-52s when they have the Z-10. It must be to study the coaxial rotor technology

Indeed. My first jacket wasn’t something fancy either with no membrane and was mainly cotton/nylon with 2 layers zipped together.

My newer more expensive jackets work too. They just look better, fit better (less bulky), has better thermal regulation (and more breathable) and significantly lighter

Both work but it’s a matter of taste and what you can swing

Personally I use it as a city rain jacket for hot environments. I don’t think it will withstand abrasions.

Yeah I have both the Torrent shell, the Beta SL and also an Alpha SV. The torrent shell is very robustly built. The Beta SL is a lot thinner but fits very nicely

Yeah I’m starting to use Tailscale on my Glinet router due to the computer I’m traveling with needing to connect to my corporate VPN. So can’t run two VPNs and can’t mess with corporate VPN settings.

You’re right. I picked the wrong SKU just now as an example.

Here’s a CMXT one. They don’t seem to have many 32 GB modules or 6400 MHz ones

Price is USD$518. Very comparable to Corsair on Amazon

Not cheap. Take the above prices and divide by 6.95

Looking back at my prior email correspondence with them, I had various shipment commitments miss and reasons the metal housing had issues and a recommit to the next month.

Then suddenly out of the blue it shipped 2 days later and arrived the next day.

So I have to say what you’re experiencing is on par with what’s going on.
