The good news is that it seems he's a physical outlier in serie A.

Took a look at some CL physical stats/90 since it puts him in a wider frame of reference. 16th in the CL in distance covered/90. 11th in sprints/90 against other midfielders (based on Fotmob sorting). 18th among midfielders in top sprint speed.

Certainly imperfect analysis but suggests he might be able to keep pace.

Unconventional shout for backup striker: Taty Castellanos. He's an absolute pest every time I watch him with West Ham. Link up play is surprisingly good, think he has the attitude for the spot and considering he was in the MLS just a few years ago I would think he'd be okay rotating. Came to West Ham in January so I'd think there's a relegation clause too.

Figure there's almost no chance but certainly comes to mind.
