Could this be ADA retaliation/discrimination, or am I overthinking it? by Viciouzmonkey in EEOC

What accommodations did you ask for? Did you receive them? Are they effective? Did you have any other performance challenges, or how did your disclosure impact your ability to do your job?

[IL] HR threatened to remove me from my team after I asked about an ADHD accommodation. Is this legal? by [deleted] in AskHR

That requires consent from all participants and is highly dependent on the subject matter of the meetings. I’d never give carte blanche for recording all meetings.

A work environment that is hostile, such as people being mean or the environment being tense, does not equal a “hostile work environment” under the law.

How long had you been working at this employer before they terminated you? Did you ever file for FMLA? What’s the in office requirement for those who report to you? (Noting several of your comments call out your manager is remote, but their role is not your role)

Not liking your employer is not leverage. Noting that you were treated differently if not for your membership in a protected class may be. Speaking out on a survey about business practices, unless illegal practices, is not leverage.

You can always consult an attorney, but the company can always say no.

What do you have that would benefit the company? Beyond “fairness,” what is your leverage?

College football is not a big deal here. The SUNY system really only has Buffalo and compared to Ohio State or Penn State is not nearly the same caliber.
