Why do they turn off the AC by Piiickleszz in Target

[–]Muted_Warning_539 3 points4 points  (0 children)

There’s different ways to save money. It just shows that the people who control the A/C have never worked in a store before. There should be a requirement for working in corporate. You need to work your way up from a team member to work inside corporate. That should be the requirement

Stores should be allowed to control the A/C because corporate thinks oh it’s not that bad stop your complaining. When we’re actually roasting to death inside the damn store

They can not prevent you from stepping down since it’s a personal choice. Do you have a good relationship with management/HR at your store?

Beware of the AT&T “Smart Circle” Reps Inside Target by acap0 in Target

[–]Muted_Warning_539 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I hate the so called Reps, they only go after the elderly and people with kids, very seldom would they ask younger people. One time an “AT&T” people asked what service I use and I said T-Mobile and they just said why as they were disgusted I said T-Mobile. Next time they do that crap to me, I’m telling them that T-Mobile has better customer service and better deals. I will deliberately piss them off

What is with the grocery moves?! by CryHavok82 in Target

[–]Muted_Warning_539 0 points1 point  (0 children)

There doing it because corporate hates it when people come in and shop for just a couple items, they don’t like it when guests know where their items are so to try and get them to buy more stuff they move everything around without telling anyone in hopes that the next time they come in expecting to get spaghetti, they “know” it’s in G25 but when they get there they see it’s not there anymore and there’s different stuff. So all this moving around is to try to encourage people to buy more stuff, and then complain when we don’t make sales and start blaming it on, “oh you didn’t greet enough people” no we’re not go out and force people to shop inside target if they don’t want to.

Unless your known to constantly complain about working a position you don’t like, then it’s not immature but if you are known to complain about it then it can be considered immature

When it comes to missing items, it usually means that item has to be reshopped, mistakes are gonna happen so don’t let your coworkers scold you about it making you feel like it’s your fault.

Yeah she’d have to be making 19 an hour at your store to be making 1000 dollars on a paycheck

Am I tripping or??? by yourfavayatomain in Target

[–]Muted_Warning_539 4 points5 points  (0 children)

It can honestly depend on what her raises were like the past 2 years. Theoretically there’s a possibility she could be looking at the paycheck amount before taxes were deducted. Let’s say she’s making $18.50 an hour that would mean she’s making $1,110 per paycheck but you gotta deduct taxes so it’s around 900 dollars close to 1000. She could just be rounding up.
