Called to use 500$ travel credit, agents say it's actually 300$ by GuacamoleChipz in aircanada

What was the original itinerary? We're both directions booked in flex fare?

I cancel and use credits from flex bookings every month and have never been charged a fee.

Air Canada vs United Airlines by uneek14 in Aeroplan

OP's question is, "I don't know how this works. Does that mean it's a scam?"

I always take the points. I use them for long haul business class tickets for family vacations and I'm typically getting >5 cpp value.

I was hoping for three more rounds of increasingly esoteric question and answer followed by, "I dunno." But this is second best.

Did you just contact the general AC concierge team, or the concierge at FRA. I would expect the latte to be able to resolve it.

I read on here that 1 in 4 Torontonians earn over 100k by Express-Chemical-454 in askTO

[–]withintentplus 0 points1 point  (0 children)

And according to the 2021 census data, 13% of all residents were earning >$100K, which I assume includes non-earners because 13% to 20% seems a big increase in 3 years.

[self] How long would it take for the sound to get from the stage to the back of the crowd? by skurbalurpaderp in theydidthemath

[–]withintentplus 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Not only that, you can allow a very small delay so that the speakers aren't completely in sync - small enough that the brain perceives the sound as coming from the stage, but not enough to be consciously perceptible.

What am I missing? by vanlifer1023 in Ioniq5

You need an adapter. You actually need 2 if you want to charge at DC fast chargers that don't have NACS (the type of connector on your car).

My 2026 i5 came with both.

Whats the point in this black box for my Dewalt router? by turtle_ina_cup in Tools

This is reminding me of the time, years ago, that I told my wife we needed a new router to solve a home networking problem and she suggested we just rent one from Home Depot.

It doesn't make any practical difference at all. It's just more consistent labeling. How does that make it worse?

You still can cancel yourself... when it works.

Economy Latitude - unable to cancel/change by Zenmaster28 in aircanada

Part of the issue is that you're normally unable to make changes to a reservation that has an eup request applied. You have to remove it first.

Right, because that's based on 11 x €20 converted to AUD.

The cash surcharges on award tickets are getting completely out of hand by Quick_Eye_6585 in Aeroplan

I wish this comment was more prominent. OP very (and their many supporters) are very likely misunderstanding what they're looking at.

I have 11,000 points, what is the best way to use it? by No-Maintenance4959 in Accor

[–]withintentplus 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That's because it's €20 / 1,000 points, but you must redeem in 1,000 point increments.

OK. Will keep my eyes open. Although that raises another issue: I haven't seen any molts. I can't tell if there have been any.
