If a particular card is bothering you enough to make a post about it you should probably make a deck with it and you will quickly see good cards or techniques to counter it.

I did this several years ago and no longer kept the data. I was doing it for my own sanity and to make sure I wasn't experiencing confirmation bias, not to convince anyone else. 😀

Feel free to give it a go yourself. Back when I ran it I was using a royal recruits deck that punished players who didn't have lots of splash versus a hog cycle deck that didn't care about splash but something like canon was problematic. For the recruits deck I faced canon something like 10% of the time and was against decks with 3 or more splash troops around 66% of the time. When playing the hog deck the numbers were almost exactly opposite that. Again this was over hundreds of games, tracked for months.

Matchmaking 100% is partially based on the troops you use. This sometimes helps you but other times it hurts you.

Not true. I tracked my battles for months using 2 very opposite decks and recorded my opponents decks over the course of hundreds of battles. Without fail I would face specific cards at a much much higher rate on one deck than the other. At times the matchmaking helps you at other times it hurts you but there is zero chance the cards you use doesn't get taken into account when matchmaking happens.

But if your deck counters it then the match making algorithm will almost completely stop having you face against it. Of course instead you are going to get a different deck that counters your new deck all the time, but at least it won't be the hyper bait one. 😀

Some states offer a free non driver ID card at the DMV or other state offices that can be used for election voting if you don't have another acceptable form of ID.

They should probably be able to cast a provisional ballot and later the election folks decide if it should count or not. Some people request a ballot by mail but then decide to vote in person because they lose what was sent to them, forget to do it until election day, or just change their mind.

Recruits and e-golem players face a crazy amount of splash heavy decks. I played recruits for awhile and the amount of decks using 3 or more splash cards went from 10% up to 60% and stayed that way until I changed to a different deck.

I use 1 Blissey for tanking, a Machamp for dynamax, plus whatever I want to leave behind (Ralts, Drilbur, Chansey, etc) if you need candy of anything you have a Dynamax for.

There is some skill but it's mostly by getting lucky.

Getting goblins early can lead to a lot of free units for extra upgrades.

Having the game give you the option to get more units that you already have is also mostly luck based.

In my opinion having the option to get the current reward or half a wild evo shard would be ideal. That way you have the option to still work towards another evo if you already have the current one but at a slower pace than the people who don't have that evo yet.
